It’s easy to build rituals at key points during your day such as on waking, starting the workday, ending the workday and before you go to sleep at night, but you can also ‘stack’ them onto existing activities you do already:
- Having a bath or shower for cleanliness, balance, clearing, centring
- Blessing your food and eating with mindfulness for nourishment and peace
- Burning a release letter as a symbol of letting go
- Choosing a daily oracle or tarot card for guidance for connection
- Creating space by cleaning or tidying an area for clarity and space
- Dressing in a way that honours who you are
- Saying hello or good-bye as you affirm your positive intentions for others
- Writing in your journal for truth and inspiration
- Lighting a candle to acknowledge, and spread light, in the world
- Random act of kindness for love and abundance
- Reviewing your ‘to do’ list as you set an intention that your activities will be quick, easy, efficient, effective and joyful
- Smudging to cleanse and purify all areas of your body and life
- Celebrating the changes of the season, moon cycles, solstice, equinox, and holidays to honour the cycles of life that you are a part of
- Walking to connect with nature and grounding to the earth
