Break the SPELLs has been designed to guide you through an enriching journey of self-discovery and liberation and I want to ensure you can recognise the progress you make (we’re pretty rubish at noticing the great work we do!).
Before diving into the content that’s waiting for you, take a few moments to reflect on where you are right now.
By identifying your current state, beliefs, patterns, and feelings, you’ll create a baseline that helps you measure your progress.
How to Complete the Initial Insight Questions:
Reflect on Your Current State
Consider your current relationship with Stories, Perspectives, Experiences, Language, and Loyalty to yourself.
Write Down Your Thoughts
In a journal or on a digital platform, record your thoughts, feelings, and any areas you would like to explore or change.
Set Your Intentions
What do you hope to achieve throughout this course?
List your intentions and goals and how you plan to approach them.
1. Identifying Your STORIES:
– What are some recurring themes or stories that you often tell yourself?
– How do these stories impact your daily life?
– What do you hope to learn or change about these narratives?
2. Exploring Your PERSPECTIVE:
– How would you describe your current perspective on life?
– Are there areas where you feel your perspective might be limiting you?
– What do you want to achieve in terms of broadening or shifting your perspective?
3. Embodying Your EXPERIENCE:
– How connected do you feel to your own experiences and emotions?
– Are there specific areas where you would like to deepen your understanding or connection?
– What do you hope to gain from exploring and engaging with your experiences?
4. Being Mindful of Your LANGUAGE:
– What words or phrases do you commonly use that might be influencing your thoughts and actions?
– How do you hope to become more mindful of your language?
– What changes do you wish to make in the way you communicate with yourself and others?
5. Becoming LOYAL to Yourself:
– How would you rate your loyalty to yourself and your well-being on a scale of 1 to 10? (1 being not loyal, 10 being completely loyal)
– In what ways have you prioritised others over yourself?
– What steps would you like to take to build a stronger sense of self-loyalty?
The answers to these questions will help you identify where you’re starting from in your Break the SPELLs journey.
Reflecting on these areas will not only set a baseline for your growth but also clarify your intentions for the course.
Remember, there’s no right or wrong answer here; this is all about your unique experience and desires.
Make sure to keep these answers handy, as they will be valuable when you reflect on your growth at the end of the course.
