Begin by noting down a personal belief or story you’ve clung to.
It’s the mountain you’re about to climb.
2. First Leg Ascent
Reflect on this belief’s origins.
What events or experiences fortified this mountain in your life?
Write a quick landscape of its formation.
3. Midway Marvel
Now, imagine you’re halfway up.
From here, with some distance, does the belief seem different?
What other paths of understanding can you see that you might have missed from the base?
4. Summit Gaze
Finally, you’ve reached the top!
From this bird’s-eye view, reflect on your chosen belief:
– Does it seem significant or minor from up here?
– Are there other mountains (beliefs) in the horizon that connect or contrast with yours?
– How does the narrative change from this elevated perspective?
5. Descent Digest
As you make your way back down, consider if and how your relationship with this belief might change.
