Create a Witchy Intention Box

To tap into the Beltane energy of fertility and abundance, now is the perfect time to create a Witchy Intentions Box that is filled with your intentions, wishes, dreams, hopes, and desires.

You could even make a family one, with everyone contributing their hopes and dreams for the family.

You will need:

A small cardboard box
Paper and a pen
Seeds – I like to use sunflower seeds
A piece of hawthorne, branch or flowers – please don’t cut the tree, look for fallen pieces of wood, or pick the flowers respectfully
Something that represents your wish – these could be herbs, flowers, crystals, items of yours, words, images.
Some earth or compost

Directions

Decorate your box in a way that feels nourishing to you.

It can be as elaborate or as simple as you like.

You may want to add some words, symbols or WomanRunes to it, some ribbon, or images.

Poke a few small holes in the lid of the box.

Place some earth in the bottom of your box.

On your piece of paper write down all of your intentions, hopes and dreams.

As you write them down, visualise them coming into your life with grace and ease.

Add your paper, hawthorne, and objects to the box.

Cover with another layer of earth.

Scatter your seeds on top.

Cover with a final layer or earth.

Finally plant your box.

Planting Your Witchy Intention Box

The best time for planting your Witchy Intention Box is just after rainfall when the air feels clean and fresh, as this will give you the perfect new start.

However, you can can water the earth where you will be planting your box.

Dig a hole that is slightly deeper than your Witchy Intention Box, and as you visualise your dreams and wishes coming to fruition, gently place your box into the ground, knowing that as your seeds begin to grow, so will your intentions.
