Create Your Own 'Happily Ever After'

‘Once Upon a Time’ and ‘Happily Ever After’ are probably two of the most recognisable phrases in our story-telling culture.

When we hear those words, we know we’re stepping into a world of stories.

It can be easy to forget that we constantly live and walk through worlds of our own making, creating stories about ourselves and the people and events in our lives.

We tell ourselves stories about what we like, what we’re good at and not so good at, what we’re afraid of, and what we’ll succeed and fail at.

We also create stories to support our beliefs and desires, constantly telling ourselves stories that shape our identities and help us to make sense of the world. Often, these stories have taught us that we’re at the mercy of forces outside of ourselves. We’re ruled by ‘shoulds’ and expectations.

But we’re not princesses who need to be rescued. Nor are we heartless women for being strong and knowing our own minds.


As you’ve begun to Break the SPELL’s, it’s now time for a change.

You know it’s time to take back control of you pen and write your own stories.

You’ve begun to break the SPELL of societal expectations and walk your own path.

You get to choose where those paths are heading.

You get to decide what our own Happily Ever Afters look like. 


The following meditations have been chosen to energetically support you write your new stories.

You can listen to them as many times as you like.

Listening to them will activate your inner power, so that you can consciously choose, and confidently claim, your own ‘Happily Ever After’.

A Ritual for Conscious Creation

You will need:

  • 1 bowl, one suitable to hold water
  • A little sea or mineral salt
  • 1 bowl, suitable to burn paper in (optional)
  • Sage for smudging, or suitable cleansing incense
  • A crystal of your choice
  • 1 candle
  • A paper and pen


Step 1. Clear your energy

Imagine standing under a silver waterfall and allow all negative energies to be washed away.


Step 2. Create a sacred space

Find a quiet place to sit, declutter and clean, you might like to place crystals or other special items around you, or cleanse the room with some incense.


Step 3. Become present

Become fully present in your body.

Become aware of every part of your body.

Bring awareness to your breathing.


Step 4. Connect to the elements

Earth: Hold your chosen crystal

Fire: Light your candle – I have 2″ candles for this purpose

Air: Light your sage leaves or your incense

Water: Fill a small bowl with water and add some sea salt to it to represent the oceans


Step 5. State your desires

Write down your wishes and desires on a piece of paper.

When you have written them all down, pass the paper through the smudge or incense smoke to clear away any unseen blockages or obstacles. Continue to do this until the energy around your desires feel lighter.


Step 6. Release your desires to the universe

State your wishes and desires out loud for the universe to hear. Feel your desires in your body.

Breathe deep into your heart and declare “I am ready to receive. And it is so.”


Step 7. Let go

Next you can either burn your desires, bury them in the ground or sleep with them under your pillow – do whichever feel right for you.


Step 8. Assimilate

Sit in silence for a while and see if any inspiration comes. You may even want to journal around your thoughts.

Let your candle burn itself out.

Drawing Down Your Vision

Use this meditation when you are ready to bring your vision, intentions and ‘Happily Ever After’ into your life.

Energy Activation Meditations

You will need to get yourself somewhere where you can fully relax and where you won’t be disturbed for about 10 minutes.

The energy activation is going to be in two parts:

  1. During the first part I will give you a phrase to think. As you think the phrase any stress or discomfort the phrase causes in your energy body or physical body will be rebalanced.
  2. During the second part of the clearing you will receive an essence that will support and strengthen your system.

Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of these energy clearing meditations, it’s powerful work and you’ll continue to gain benefit from it for days after you’ve listened to it.


What to Expect

During the energy clearing you may feel tingling sensations, you may yawn or feel a change in temperature – this is just the energy moving around your body, however you may feel nothing at all – just know that you are receiving the perfect experience for you.


After Care

After listening to the energy clearing it’s important to drink plenty of water.

Energy is fluid and the water helps to move the energy through your system.

You may wish to talk about the experience during the clearing. You could also, draw, journal, sing, paint or dance about the clearing to continue to release anything else. You could also just go about your everyday life!
