SHEro Guidance for the Week Ahead
August 29th
From the SHEro Toolkit Cards
1 – The Meadow
Follow Your Curiosity
“Curiosity leads you to your passions and purpose”
Meadows are places for joy and growth. Flowers of all shapes and sizes pop up wherever they please. There are no borders or structure, and yet everything flourishes, showing off beauty with carefree abandon.
The Meadow reminds you to become curious and play
When was the last time you became curious and wanted to learn something new? When did you last let your imagination run wild and saw things from a different perspective?
When was the last time you suspended disbelief and allowed yourself to accept the seemingly impossible? The last time you laughed and played with wild abandon? The last time you let yourself go completely, and lost yourself in the sheer delight of the moment?
Playing isn’t childish. It’s child-like. There’s a lot we can learn from approaching life, challenges and tasks with the innocence, curiosity and wonder of a child.
Allow yourself to play and follow your curiosity.
Embrace every opportunity you get to play, step out of the familiar routines and bring some light-hearted joy, laughter and wonder to your day.
SHEro Action
Be more curious.
Bring more wonder and delight into your day by becoming curious about everything.
Why do you do things a certain way? Could you do them differently?
What would it be like to dream more, feel more awe or follow your inspiration?
What new feelings, opportunities or connections would you experience if you became more curious and open?
Try doing new things and seeing things from a different perspective. Find out what happens when you allow yourself to step out of routine and become curious.
Pause and take a breath as you follow your curiosity and step into a world of wonder.
Affirmation
“I open my heart to curiosity and wonder.”
2 – The New Moon
Let Your Inner Wisdom Guide You
“Make more time to connect with your inner wisdom and your wise self that knows the answers”
The new moon marks the first lunar phase, and symbolises new beginnings. Although the moon can’t be seen at this time, that doesn’t diminish its power or the effect it has on the Earth.
The New Moon reminds you to let your inner wisdom guide you
Listen to the wisdom that arises from your inner darkness. We’re often taught to fear the darkness, but it’s in the darkness that your inner wisdom and intuition communicate with you. It’s in the darkness that you have access to the mysteries and the very spark of creation.
Pay attention to the wisdom of the darkness. Notice your dreams and the intuitive nudges you receive.
Criticism and self-judgement can disconnect you from your intuitive self. They can make you doubt what you know to be true.
It’s time to go within and reconnect to your own inner knowing. It’s time to nurture yourself and take the time to tune in and listen to your intuitive messages.
Sometimes, these messages will be loud and clear. Other times, they’ll be more like gentle nudges and quiet whispers.
Either way, listen to your intuition. Explore the wisdom in its messages.
SHEro Action
Connect to your intuition.
Spend time in nature.
Make some time to sit quietly by water – perhaps the ocean, a river or a lake.
Read poetry.
Connect to the cycles of the moon.
Use your favourite tools for divination.
Ask your questions, seek guidance, and then listen to the wisdom in the answers you get from these places and tools.
Pause and take a breath as you become more attuned to your own wisdom.
Affirmation
“I honour my inner wisdom.”
3 – The Chair
Take a Sacred Pause
“Value being and brewing as much as achieving and doing”
Chairs come in all shapes, sizes, designs and colours. We use them for sitting in all kinds of different rooms and situations. They’re often places of comfort that allow us to rest.
The Chair reminds you to take a sacred pause
Take some time to pause and integrate all that you’ve gone through.
In the busyness of life, it’s easy to move from one phase, project or event to the next without taking time to acknowledge or integrate what you’ve learnt. Instead, get quiet and take a moment to pause. Reflect and listen to the call of your soul.
Take this pause to ask yourself what you really want. What do you really need? What lessons are you carrying forward?
Wherever you are on your journey, embrace it and all the wisdom and growth that it brings you.
Allow the messages of your soul to unfold. Embrace the changes that are always happening to and around you. Give yourself the space to allow the mysteries and magic of life and your soul to reveal themselves to you.
Stop pushing. Put down your to-do list. Remove the pressure of your goals and intentions. Allow yourself to integrate all that you’ve done, achieved and let go of.
Receive the wisdom of your strength, growth and the lessons you’ve learnt along the way.
SHEro Action
Stop.
Put down whatever you don’t need to do right now. It will still be there later, or even tomorrow. Better still, if you can, delegate it.
Instead of doing, just be.
Give yourself the space to stop, pause and listen to the wisdom, messages and learning from your soul.
Get still, rest and give yourself the space and time to integrate all that you do, and have done, in your life.
Pause and take a breath as you stop and allow yourself to integrate life and its many lessons.
Affirmation
“I pause and integrate the lessons of my life.”
