SHEro Guidance for the Week Ahead

May 30th

1 – The Chalice

Open Up to the Mysteries

You don’t try to ‘understand’ the mysteries – you experience them

A chalice is a large goblet or standing cup that’s designed to hold a drink. It’s often used in ceremony, and holds great symbolic meaning as a sacred vessel.

The Chalice reminds you to open up to the mysteries

Renew your connection with the unseen mysteries of life. Take some time to reconnect with what it felt like to live with the awe and wonder of an innocent child. Allow yourself to open up to the potential and magic all around you. Renew your trust in the life force that awakens, grows and transforms everything in nature in perfect harmony, according to divine timing.

Nature doesn’t force anything. There are no to-do lists, and no exhaustive schedules. There’s just the ebb and flow of natural rhythms. There’s a daisy being a daisy, a tree being a tree and moss being moss.

Daisies, trees and moss don’t wish to be anything else. They don’t struggle with competition or expectations. They just revel in the magic of being themselves in the only way they know how.

This is the same perfect magic that you are connected to. It’s the same magic you felt within and around you as a very small child – at least until you learnt not to.

Renew your connection with these unseen mysteries of life. Your eyes and ears are amazing, but they can’t see and hear everything. Bring your attention within. Listen, see and feel with your energy and your more refined senses. These are the senses that we often disconnect from and override as we grow older.

Return to the natural world of magic and wonder.

Connect with the energy of the Earth, and feel her rhythmic heartbeat, keeping time, keeping pace. Surrender to this ancient wisdom as you deepen your connection with the magic and wonder that resides within and around you.

This is your magic.

SHEro Action

Close your eyes and go within.

Take some time to remember what it felt like to see the world through innocent eyes and with a joyful heart.

Place your hand over your heart, and remember what it was like to be you as a child. Remember who you were before anyone told you who you should be.

Remember what it was like to look at the world through the eyes of magic and possibility, seeing opportunities at every turn. Allow yourself to reconnect to feelings of innocence and wonder.

Pause and take a breath as you allow your inner senses to awaken, and reconnect to the mysteries of life.

“I connect deeply to the mysteries of life.”

 2 – The Crown

Claim Your Sovereignty

It’s time to take back control of the pen and write your own ‘Happily Ever After’”

Crowns are a traditional form of headwear that represent power and authority. They’re often worn by queens and kings who rule over and are responsible for the people and land of their domain.

The Crown reminds you to claim your sovereignty

You are a sovereign being. You’re responsible for yourself, your choices and your behaviours. You have authority over how you show up in the world. That means you get to choose whether you move towards something or away from it.

Responsibility, authority and choice don’t always come easily. There are judgements and expectations to overcome, from both yourself and the world around you.

You may not be responsible for the situation you find yourself in, but you can take responsibility for changing it, or changing how you respond to it.

Sovereignty doesn’t mean you have to do it alone. It does mean, however, that you’re the one who has to choose what you’re going to do next.

SHEro Action

Take responsibility for your life.

Where have you been settling?

It’s time to step up and take responsibility for creating the life and experiences that you want, and not just putting up with the mediocre.

What action can you take today to change your situation?

Make a plan.

It’s not about using your energy to prove that you were right or wrong. It’s about moving on from the situation, so you can be free to consciously create the life you desire.

Pause and take a breath as you claim your sovereignty.

“I take full responsibility for how I show up in the world.”

3 – The Rose

Own Your Value

Be proud of who you are

The rose is a symbol of love, passion, honour, faith and devotion. In particular, red roses stand for courage and respect, and are an expression of our deepest feelings.

The Rose reminds you to own your value

You are valuable and your contribution matters.

Give yourself permission to go after what you desire, even if it makes no sense to those around you. Realign yourself with your values. Check in with the feelings you wish to experience more of in your life, and the experiences you want to make up your life.

Does your current experience of life reflect that which you hold sacred? Or have you been compromising, and putting others’ needs before your own?

What do you want to share with the world? What do you really believe? What kind of world do you want to live in, and contribute to?

Dream about it, talk about it and share your views with others… but take action. Believe in yourself. Trust that you wouldn’t have been given this inspiration if it wasn’t true for you. Don’t be discouraged by others, or think you have nothing unique to contribute.

No one sees the world the way you do. Other people may have similar views, but they haven’t lived your life or had your experiences. That means your thoughts and ideas will always have your unique flavour. Share it!

The world is richer and better when we all share our inspired truth.

You are valuable, and your contribution matters.

SHEro Action

Check in with yourself when you’re speaking with others.

Notice when you start trying to prove yourself to someone or convince them that your views are right. Remember that this behaviour is different from healthy debate, because it comes from a place of feeling ‘not enough.’

Each time you notice yourself feeling this way, or trying to win approval or prove you’re right, step back. Reconnect with all the things that are important to you. It’s okay if those things aren’t important to everyone else. It would be a dull world if everyone was interested in all the same things.

Pause and take a breath as you own your value and give yourself permission to be you.

“I honour and value my unique self.”
