Hi and welcome to the Re-Enchant Your Life reminder.
Your sacred pause in the day where you’re encouraged to take a moment to stop and tune into your inner wisdom and become present, so that you can reconnect to your personal power and confidently embrace who you’re becoming, as you Re-Enchant Your life and create the change you truly desire.
Today you’re being reminded of the importance of taking up space in your own body and being present within yourself.
You are a receptive being.
Every interaction you have with another allows you to receive part of them, more so when you have a physical or intimate relationship with them.
This is a beautiful thing, a way to connect deeply with another.
But it can become toxic if you are not fully in, and present within your own body and energy.
When you’re not fully present, you have the space to store the energy of other people, and you can store this within your own body and energetic field.
Pain, trauma, unwanted attention, and shame are just a few of the reasons that can cause you to disconnect from yourself physically.
These experiences can lead to it becoming too painful or overwhelming to be present in your body.
Being disconnected from yourself turns the beauty of receiving another into an experience where you can energetically keep them in your system for much longer than is appropriate.
When you’re fully present in your own body and your own energy system, when you take up all of your own space, there is no room for the unwanted or inappropriate energy of others.
There is no space for their energy, hurt or unwanted opinions or attention.
They can no longer influence you, drain you or stay within you.
In this very moment, just pause and take a breath, as you return to your body.
Today’s SHEro Action:
Today’s SHEro action is to sink deep down into your own body.
Feel yourself become present as you fill up all of your body and your energetic system with your own essence.
Most importantly, come back to your energetic womb space.
Place your hand over this energetic wombspace and sink deep into this area.
Imagine a dark stone sinking gently through water, and feel this sinking down through your body, until it lands deep within this energetic space.
Keep coming back to this feeling throughout the day.
Pause, and take a breath. As you connect deeply to your energetic wombspace.
“It is safe for me to be in my own body”

In the meantime, enjoy being present within your own body!
Of course, saying to be present in your body can sound a funny thing to say, because where else can you be?
You can’t exist without your physical body being here right now, and it has no interest being anywhere else.
Yet, your mind can try and be everywhere else, distracting itself from this very moment.
To get your body and mind to synced up, so that you can be present with yourself, present with other people and tasks you’re working on, I like to ask myself one of two really powerful, yet simple questions.
I just ask myself:
“Where am I right now?” or
“Am I here?”
The more you ask yourself this, the more present you begin to become, as you notice how distracted you might’ve become.
Be curious about this process.
Why are you off at other places other than here right now?
Are you too busy, overwhelmed, anxious, avoiding something or excited about something that’s coming up?
Use the presence of your body to anchor the rest of you into this moment.
Being present within yourself is important so that you can show up fully present, connected and aligned with your truth.
In my experience this is the easiest way for me to stay true to myself and less affected by the energy, opinions, expectations and judgements of others. I hope you’ll try it for yourself too.
