Listen. Because listening’s important:
Hi and welcome to the Re-Enchant Your Life reminder.
Your sacred pause in the day where you’re encouraged to take a moment to stop and tune into your inner wisdom and become present, so that you can reconnect to your personal power and confidently embrace who you’re becoming, as you Re-Enchant Your life and create the change you truly desire.
Today you’re being reminded to connect with your sacred power.
Your sacred power resides in the wisdom of your energetic Womb energy – this isn’t about having a physical womb, as I’m referring to the energetic Womb space, your creative cauldron, the sacral chakra or hara.
I believe that this energetic space is the seat of a woman’s power.
The seat of your ability to create things, experiences, and life.
Yet instead of connecting with it to make aligned choices from a place of passion and grounded power, women can often use it as a convenient storage space.
A place to store unresolved emotions, especially grief.
Collective grief, ancestral grief and of course their own grief.
The Womb space is not a storage place.
It’s a place of deep wisdom.
A place where you conceive, incubate and birth new ideas.
A place of your deepest knowing and deepest connection.
It’s the home of your sacred power and it’s time to allow yourself to really feel into this power within you.
It’s time that you can once again make choices from a place of passion and power, instead of overwhelm, confusion and fear.
In this very moment, just pause and take a breath, as you feel into your energetic womb space.
Today’s SHEro Action:
Today’s SHEro action is to feel into your energetic womb space, your creative cauldron.
Imagine sweeping around the edge of your pelvic bowl with a beautiful white, violet or golden light.
Notice how it feels.
Is there anything that doesn’t belong there?
If so, ask it what it needs from you, and then allow it to be dissolved and transmuted into its highest expression with the light.
Do this for as long as feels good to you.
Pause, and take a breath. As you release what’s no longer yours to carry.
“I trust the wisdom of my inner creative cauldron”
I’ll see you tomorrow for your daily reminder to Re-Enchant Your Life with me, Rebecca-Anuwen,
In the meantime, enjoy connecting with your sacred power as you walk Your SHEro’s Journey!
When you’re disconnected from your Womb space, that energetic space, you also become disconnected from your own power.
When you’re disconnected from your own power one of the most damaging things that can happen is that you can lose your own sense of self, and quite literally forget the truth of who you really are.
You can lose touch with your own hopes, dreams and desires.
One of the main reasons that women become disconnected from their sense of power is that they are taught from a very young age that women are caregivers; loving, kind and nurturing.
So it’s then expected that they should put the needs of others before themselves.
To do this women end up suppressing their own thoughts needs and desires until they become numb to them.
They can be so busy putting everyone else’s needs before their own, that they can forget what truly lights them up, and this can leave them feeling frustrated, empty and resentful, and not even know why.
If you think about your Womb space, it’s mainly an empty space that we don’t pay much attention to unless you’re pregnant or have your period.
And for that reason, I see many women using it like a ‘cupboard under the stairs’ or a spare drawer in the kitchen; a space where you put all the items that don’t really have any other place to go.
You have an emotion, you don’t know what to do with it, so it gets stuffed down into the Womb space.
Something happens, you don’t have time to process it, it gets stuffed down into your Womb space.
You have a shock or experience a trauma, it gets stuffed down into your energetic Womb space so that you can continue with everyday life.
All the ‘junk’ ends up in Womb space and the pelvic girdle.
It’s like a convenient space that’s really handy just to store things in until you know what to do with them, yet we often forget to go back and empty it.
So, the emotions and unprocessed events stay there festering…
And that’s exactly what I used to do too.
I’d been storing, and dare I say ‘hiding’ the remnants of events and emotions in my ‘cupboard under the stairs’ Womb space.
The ironic thing was, that I’d suppressed my power and filled this space as I thought it was safer for me. Yet when I released and healed what needed to be addressed and I came back into my body, I felt safer than I ever had before.
Avoiding the issues may have felt easier than facing them, but in fact addressing them left me feeling lighter, freer, happier and rooted in my own sense of self and connected to my seat of power.
