Listen. Because listening’s important:

Hi and welcome to the Re-Enchant Your Life reminder.

Your sacred pause in the day where you’re encouraged to take a moment to stop and tune into your inner wisdom and become present, so that you can reconnect to your personal power and confidently embrace who you’re becoming, as you Re-Enchant Your life and create the change you truly desire.

Today you’re being reminded that everything ends, and with every ending comes a new beginning.

It’s one of the beautiful things in life.

It’s beautiful because it’s dependable, we can trust it.

And trust is what I want to talk about today.

One of the key themes of my work, it’s the foundation of what I want for every single person, and that’s that they can trust themselves.

It sounds so simple doesn’t it?

Trust yourself.

It rolls off the tongue and I’m sure you can expect to see it on an inspiring cup or a bumper sticker.

But do you actually, really, truly, trust yourself?

Maybe you have moments of trusting yourself, followed by longer moments of doubt.

We can lose trust in ourselves every time we become more concerned about the opinions and reactions of others over our own.

We can lose trust in ourselves when we feel that everyone, or even some other people are more important than ourselves.

We can lose trust in ourselves when we aren’t clear on our own boundaries.

We can lose trust in ourselves when we can no longer feel where we end and other people begin; so pick up other people’s judgements and opinions and confuse ourselves as we believe that these opinions of other’s are ours, even though they don’t feel right to us.

We can lose trust in ourselves every time we disconnect with our inner power and look outside of ourselves for the answers.

The list goes on and on.

I think it’s fair to say that there are many structures set up in our world that profit from us not trusting ourselves.

I may not be able to change the structures, but I can hopefully inspire you to trust yourself again.

And so this is where we move into season two of this podcast.

The reconnection.

Changing the format of the podcast is the perfect example of trust. And as a side-note… if you love hearing stories of people seeing dragons, having trees laugh at them and speaking to crows, you’ll want to stay tuned…. And when I say people, obviously I mean me!

But first let me explain how I got here…

At the beginning of last year, I made a bold decision to create everything, and I meant everything from a place of ‘feeling’, rather than logic.

It started simply with the creation of this website RebeccaAnuwen .com, and with the colour palette.

The main colours of my website are green and pink.

I had never really considered myself a pink kind of person, but it felt right.

I chose the dark green and pink, and then tried talking myself out of it. Although it felt perfect, I kept thinking that dark green and gold was far more of a classic combination.

But I reminded myself that I was going to trust myself and follow my feelings so that’s what I did.

I went for dark green, pink with rose gold.

I still love how it feels, and when I launched the new site, soooo many people that knew me commented about how it was such a good reflection of me!

With many saying it was light and grounded, just like me.

Phew, I’m glad I trusted the feelings.

And this podcast has done exactly the same for me.

Last Thursday as I was recording the podcast for Friday – yes that’s how it gets done lol…. And something felt different.

I initially put the feeling down to the current circumstances.

I tried to fob it off as it was late at night.

But it felt different.

So, I sat with the feeling.

I got the feeling that it was time to stop writing a daily podcast.

Immediately I resisted.

No. I couldn’t do that, I receive so many emails and comments from people thanking me for doing a daily show.

I know it’s part of so many people’s routine.

I can’t just stop. Especially now, as I feel that people need a small dose of inspiration more than ever.

I could hear all the incredible comments from people that love the daily episodes and immediately felt that I didn’t want to let them down.

Then I came back to my own centre.

How did I feel?

What felt right to me?

What was the intuitive message I was receiving?

And I knew it was time for a change.

Trust.

I trust myself implicitly.

It’s not always been my natural default mode, it’s certainly something I have had to learn, and I want to share with you stories of how it can be yours too.

I want you to understand how to trust your own intuition.

So that you too can understand the difference between being tired and not wanting to carry on with something, and knowing that it’s the right time to stop. And to do so without yo-yoing between certainty and doubt.

Now more than ever is the time when we need to learn to trust ourselves more.

Trust what we want to keep and what’s ready to be let go of.

Trusting ourselves isn’t always the easy path, but it is always the right path.

I want you to be able to know when you need to stand your ground because you trust yourself, even when those around you may be telling you that you’re wrong.

And importantly I want for you to be able to trust the messages that you receive from your soul and the world around you, so that you can understand and interpret these messages and the messages from your own inner wisdom.

To support you to do this I’m going to share with you my, well let’s face it… no doubt seemingly crazy to some people, adventures, but to others they’ll hear my stories and say ‘phew, yes, me too’, and to others I hope it opens up a world where we’re not limited by the five senses we’ve been traditionally taught we have.

I want you to step into a world where you sense as well as see and perceive as well as hear.

These stories will include my first experience of crystals where I cried and cried and had no idea what on earth was going on, to the time I was shouting and swearing at a tree that was laughing at me, to a time when I was teaching a class and I shared that a dragon was circling my office and I wanted to know who’s it was, as it certainly wasn’t mine (I work with a different type of dragon) (and yes we found out who’s it was).

If someone had shared these stories with me at the beginning of my journey, I absolutely would’ve thought they were well… I would’ve thought there was something not quite right with them.

But they are just so normal to me now that I barely even bat an eyelid when these things happen to me.

I’ll even share with you how I still refuse to talk to dead people, but I have made an exception a few times – and one of those times really brought home to me just how much I do trust myself.

I trust myself, and the universe so much that I can share these stories with you, know they might sound weird, and also be confident in my own experience.

Now obviously I don’t expect you to chat with dragons or trees unless you want to, but my guess is that you already do to some degree – perhaps without even realising that you do.

And whilst you don’t have to broadcast your conversations,  I want to give you the confidence to deepen that connection, to trust yourself and your own experiences, knowing that you’re not alone.

But more than anything I want you to listen to yourself, to understand how to interpret the message of your soul.

So, if you want to join me on this adventure, each Tuesday I’ll share with you a story from my own experience and some information on how to trust yourself a little bit more.

Because surely, if I can trust myself that I talk to dragons, you can trust yourself to know what you need to do next?

I hope you’ll join me for the adventure!

I’ll see you on Tuesday as we Re-Enchant Your Life and reconnect you with your own inner-wisdom.
