Listen. Because listening’s important:
Hi and welcome to the Re-Enchant Your Life reminder.
Your sacred pause in the day where you’re encouraged to take a moment to stop and tune into your inner wisdom and become present, so that you can reconnect to your personal power and confidently embrace who you’re becoming, as you Re-Enchant Your life and create the change you truly desire.
Today you’re being reminded to speak your truth.
Give yourself permission to say what’s in your heart.
Stand tall and take up space with your voice as you share what matters to you.
Your words have power.
Use them to uplift and inspire yourself and others.
There’s magic and connection created when you share your truth.
Say what needs to be said.
Speak from your heart.
Allow others to clearly hear what’s important to you as you share your hopes, dreams and desires.
Take a stand for yourself and what you believe in.
Ask for what you need.
Don’t hold yourself back, silence yourself or think your words don’t have value.
In this very moment, just pause and take a breath, as you connect with what needs to be said.
Today’s SHEro Action:
Today’s SHEro action is to acknowledge what you need to say.
Maybe there are unsaid words that you need to say to someone.
Perhaps you haven’t been asking for what you need, or you’ve been withholding your vision of the future.
It’s time to speak your words of truth and communicate clearly.
Share your feelings and express your hopes and dreams.
Pause, and take a breath. As you speak from your heart.
“I confidently speak from my heart”
I’ll see you tomorrow for your daily reminder to Re-Enchant Your Life with me, Rebecca-Anuwen,
In the meantime, enjoy speaking your truth!
If as a small child, you didn’t have an environment where it was safe to express yourself fully, the chances are that now as an adult this pattern continues, and you still feel unsafe to express yourself and voice fully.
You can continue to silence yourself in order to get approval, fit in or at least not stand out.
You silence yourself as a way to get love, because using your voice may have led to a withholding of love in your past.
Your voice is your power, when you don’t use it, you have given your power away to someone or something else.
When you silence your voice, withhold your voice or tame your voice, you are doing the same thing to your own inner-power.
People that aren’t fully speaking their truth can be more prone to:
Be the people pleaser
Be fearful of conflict, so don’t speak up
Devalue their own ideas and follow other people’s suggestions
Apologise more than is necessary
Be unduly influenced by their own inner critic
Instead of silencing yourself, start to remember your own power. Focus on strengthening your courage and speak up.
Each time you speak from your heart, you reclaim your right to be heard, you reclaim that you and your thoughts matter, each time you speak up you show yourself that you love yourself a little bit more.
