Listen. Because listening’s important:

Hi and welcome to the Re-Enchant Your Life reminder.

Your sacred pause in the day where you’re encouraged to take a moment to stop and tune into your inner wisdom and become present, so that you can reconnect to your personal power and confidently embrace who you’re becoming, as you Re-Enchant Your life and create the change you truly desire.

Today you’re being reminded of the importance to give yourself time to take a pause, to rest and relax.

Put everything you’re doing to one side.

Put it all down.

Put your feet up.

And just relax.

Focus on your breathing and let your body sink into whatever’s beneath it; a chair, a bed, a couch, the grass…

Allow yourself to be held and supported as you take this moment for yourself.

It’s in these moments that our energy is able to renew itself.

You can become present.

Your mind resets, you exhale fully, you drop your shoulders and release some of the stress you’ve been carrying.

It’s in these moments of pause that you often gain new insights, fresh ideas and new solutions to existing challenges.

Let your mind wander and the answers you seek are more likely to emerge.

Sometimes the most powerful and productive thing you can do is to stop.

In this very moment, just pause and take a breath, as you give yourself permission to have a rest.

Today’s SHEro Action:

Today’s SHEro action is to stop, rest and put your feet up, even if only for a few minutes.

Stretch out and allow yourself to sink into what whatever surface you’re on.

Focus on your breathing allowing it to become slower and deeper.

Let your body become soft and heavy as you fully let go.

Watch the clouds pass by, have a nap, daydream.

Let yourself rest deeply.

Pause, and take a breath. As you surrender to this moment of rest.

Today’s Affirmation:

“I value my need to rest”

I’ll see you tomorrow for your daily reminder to Re-Enchant Your Life with me, Rebecca-Anuwen,

In the meantime, enjoy slowing down and resting!

PostScript

In a world that values doing and achieving over being and brewing it can be hard to give ourselves time to stop and rest.

Yet resting is as important as taking action. We need both.

We’ve been created within the vast wisdom of nature that holds our evolutionary knowledge, and nature time and time again, shows us that to be able to maintain being productive, it’s as important to rest as it is to take action.

The days of the year know the importance of action in the light of day and resting in the darkness of the night, and the seasons cycle through times of action during spring and summer and slowdown in autumn and then rest and withdrawal during winter.

So how are you going to rest today?
