Listen. Because listening’s important:
Hi and welcome to the Re-Enchant Your Life reminder.
Your sacred pause in the day where you’re encouraged to take a moment to stop and tune into your inner wisdom and become present, so that you can reconnect to your personal power and confidently embrace who you’re becoming, as you Re-Enchant Your life and create the change you truly desire.
Today you’re being reminded to believe in yourself, and to believe in your dreams and vision for your life.
As you walk your SHEro’s Journey you will come across obstacles, it will feel hard, you may question your choices, but keep going.
Focus on your destination.
The goal and dream that you’re moving towards.
Reconnect to what you want to achieve and more importantly, the ‘why’ of your desire to achieve it.
Believe in yourself.
Now is not the time to give up.
No matter how slow you must move, keep moving.
Every step, no matter how small moves you closer to where it is you want to be.
It doesn’t matter if you stumble or take three steps forward and two steps back.
See it as part of the journey, a dance of your own making, rather than a failure of any kind.
Each stumble, fall or misstep teaches you more about yourself and strengthens your inner resolve.
You know it will be worth it. And the obstacles will become a distant memory, maybe even a funny story that you share.
In this very moment, just pause and take a breath, as you commit to moving forward.
Today’s SHEro Action:
Today’s SHEro action is to reconnect with the ‘why’ behind your dreams and desires.
To remember what it was that made you want to make the changes that you committed to.
Was it to support your values and/or to bring a dream into reality?
Spend some time really anchoring into your why, as it will strengthen your resolve and your ability to overcome any obstacles you may encounter.
Pause, and take a breath. As you reconnect to your why.
“I believe in myself and keep moving forward”
I’ll see you tomorrow for your daily reminder to Re-Enchant Your Life with me, Rebecca-Anuwen,
In the meantime, enjoy moving forward!
Sometimes all that’s important is just putting one foot in front of the other.
When I was at university, a friend and I decided that we would walk the famous Coast to Coast walk of England. You walk from one side of England to the other.
It sounds a bit grand, but you only walk the narrowest point, and the distance was only around 190 miles.
I say ‘only’, because for a width of a country, that’s actually quite small, but for someone that hadn’t really done much walking, that was actually quite a feat to set out on, especially for a first long distance walk. I’d not walked more than 10 miles in a day before that.
And in our wisdom we decided to do the route the opposite way that it had been designed.
Being new to walking long distances we thought we’d start with the moorlands and then be fit for the mountains haha
What we hadn’t realised was, that doing it that way meant we had the weather in our face for most of the time, and being the North of England, that meant quite a bit of wind and rain.
So, some days, all I could do to keep climbing the hills, crossing rivers, and moving past getting stuck in peat marshes, was just focus on the next step.
Reminding myself that no matter how small the next step, it was one step closer to completing our challenge.
So, my advice… The walk is incredible, you see so much amazing landscape, but follow the tried and tested path, the people that came before me knew what they were doing much better than I did hahaha
