“There comes a time in your life when you finally get it … When in the midst of all your fears and insanity you stop dead in your tracks and somewhere the voice inside your head cries out “ENOUGH! Enough fighting and crying or struggling to hold on.” And, like a child quieting down after a blind tantrum, your sobs begin to subside, you shudder once or twice, you blink back your tears and through a mantle of wet lashes you begin to look at the world from a new perspective.
……….This is your awakening.”

Sonny Carroll

My journey started nearly four decades ago, but my story began centuries before that.

It’s a shared story.

A story that unites every women who is, who has gone before us, and will follow in our footsteps.

It is the story of the Divine Feminine.

Not the ethereal Divine Feminine of myth and spiritual aspirations, but the Divine Feminine that resides in every woman.

The Divine Feminine that calls to you in the silence of the night, who has you longing for a deeper understanding, and desiring more meaningful connections and experiences in your life.

The Divine feminine that for so long has been ignored, belittled and betrayed.

There is only so long that we can suppress her and ignore her calls.

We may not want to acknowledge her pain and anger, we may fear what will happen when we embrace the full might of her power and magic, for deep down we recognise that this is a reflection of our own pain and our own anger. It mirrors the very suppression of our own power and the magic that lies within.

These are the reasons that we have been afraid to ‘go there’, afraid to express the very depth of our feelings, in case we’re told we’re being neurotic, high-maintenance or dismissed as ‘too emotional’.

She has been ‘kept in her place’ for too long, and it’s time to reclaim the magic and gifts that she gives us as women.

‘This is not against men. But FOR women’ – Molly Remer

It is only in diving into the deep dark depths of ourselves that we can ever hope to reconnect to the Divine Feminine, to grow, evolve and embrace all that we can be.

Everything must grow from the dark, and we are being called to grow, to evolve, to reclaim our power and all that was once lost and forgotten.

It’s time to open up, to receive, and say yes to her whispers.

It’s time for us to remember, and to reconnect.

It is time for us to return home to ourselves and become the SHEroes of our own stories.
