Listen. Because listening’s important:
Hi and welcome to the Re-Enchant Your Life reminder.
Your sacred pause in the day where you’re encouraged to take a moment to stop and tune into your inner wisdom and become present, so that you can reconnect to your personal power and confidently embrace who you’re becoming, as you Re-Enchant Your life and create the change you truly desire.
Today you’re being reminded to breathe.
Often when you’re anxious or stressed the first thing that you do is breathe less. Your breathing becomes shallower and everything else seems to quicken.
We take our breathing for granted, and don’t pay it much attention.
But by taking a moment to pause, to become aware and to consciously deepen your breath, creates space so you can feel calmer, more in control and less overwhelmed.
In this space of calm, sink deeply into your own being, root into yourself.
Remind yourself of your courage, your tenacity, your strength and your ability to overcome everything that has come before this moment.
The storm will pass.
Challenges will be overcome.
You may feel battered and tattered, but you are still here.
In this very moment, just pause and take a breath, as you sink deep into your own being.
Today’s SHEro Action:
Today’s SHEro action is slow down and deepen your breath.
Drop your shoulders, feel the space lengthen between your ears and your shoulders.
Relax your face.
Unclench your jaw.
Soften your eyes.
Then take a slow deep breath.
The kind of breath that expands your stomach.
Then exhale slowly and deliberately.
With each inhale feel yourself becoming more present and calm.
With each exhale feel yourself relaxing.
Pause, and take a breath. As you deepen into your being.
“I am present and grounded”
I’ll see you tomorrow for your daily reminder to Re-Enchant Your Life with me, Rebecca-Anuwen,
In the meantime, enjoy being fully present as you walk Your SHEro’s Journey!
I have a tendency to work on lots of projects.
I then put time pressures on myself to complete these projects.
I love bringing projects to life, one time I counted, and I was working on different 16 projects, that’s a lot, even for me!
Most of the time I love the variety and the opportunity of working with different people. But every so often, overwhelm hits me and I wonder what I need to next, or how to manage my priorities.
When I get like this, I get too in my own head and feel like I can’t think clearly, to which a friend of mine just says the word ‘breathe’.
Just that one word is enough to make me remember to breathe.
To sink back into my body, to slow down and breathe.
That one moment of pause is enough to bring me back into my body and become present.
And from there I can step out of overwhelm and back into the joy of creation, to accept the messiness of creation and know that everything always works itself out.
All I need to do is remember to breathe.
