Listen. Because listening’s important:
Hi and welcome to the Re-Enchant Your Life reminder.
Your sacred pause in the day where you’re encouraged to take a moment to stop and tune into your inner wisdom and become present, so that you can reconnect to your personal power and confidently embrace who you’re becoming, as you Re-Enchant Your life and create the change you truly desire.
Today you’re being reminded to do something pleasurable that makes you smile and laugh.
To do something just for the fun of it.
We can often see fun as something frivolous or childish, but it’s an essential part of being you.
Allow yourself to be spontaneous and free.
Skip, laugh, sing, do something just because it makes you smile.
Connect with your senses, follow what brings you joy and pleasure.
Feel excited about all of the possibilities that are available to you.
Change your mind.
You’re not being flaky or high maintenance, you’ve simply changed your mind
Some days something feels good, the next it doesn’t and that’s okay
Recognise the wisdom in changing course. Of following your heart, your passions and your pleasure.
Pleasure is incredibly important for a woman.
Women are designed for pleasure.
Your body is designed for pleasure.
Remind yourself of what it’s like to embody your sensual side.
To use and embrace all of your senses.
To explore the world through your taste, touch, sight, sound and smell.
Make yourself giggle with delight as you reawaken all of your senses.
Pay more attention to everything around you and notice how it makes you feel.
Make today about you and exploring the world with fresh eyes, and awakened senses
In this very moment, just stop, pause and take a breath, as you reconnect to your pleasure.
Today’s SHEro Action:
Today’s SHEro action is to do something with more awareness of your senses, for example, eat with awareness, or dress with awareness
Choose fabrics that feel gorgeous against your skin, choose foods that make your mouth tingle with delight.
Notice how you feel, do you embrace exploring your senses, or do you feel silly or even embarrassed about it?
As you connect to more of your pleasure, pay attention to how you show up for yourself and for others, when you allow yourself to be playful and your sensual side to lead.
Pause and take a breath, as you reconnect to your pleasure.
“I am a passionate woman, who honours her desires”
I’ll see you tomorrow for your daily reminder to Re-Enchant Your Life with me, Rebecca-Anuwen,
In the meantime, enjoy exploring your senses!
I hate clothes shopping!
I always have.
I’ve never known what colour or style suits me.
I go snow blind as soon as I walk into a clothes shop.
I’m not sure where this has come from, but I’ve never enjoyed it.
I’ve always wanted to love clothes shopping, to be able to buy clothes that fitted well and that I felt confident in, but instead I loathed it.
My body has always had curves, and curves in a way that has meant that my bum has always been ‘too big’ compared with my waist, so finding trousers that don’t ridiculously gape at the back is a nuisance, my legs seem to be in between lengths lol… I could go on… but I’m sure you get the picture…
I think I missed the part of being a teenager where you learn how to dress and find what suits you.
And I then I found myself on the other side of 40, still wondering what clothes I should buy!
So, I booked a consult with a stylist who tells you what colours you look best in and what styles work for you.
It was such fun! If you haven’t done it before, I highly recommend it!
And if you know colours and are curious… I’m ‘Summer’ and need to wear cool colours, like blues, dark green and burgundy.
But, knowing what to wear and buying it are two completely different things!
So I booked the same woman to go personal shopping, and oh my… what a totally different experience!
She loved shopping and knew exactly what to look for that would suit me.
She picked things for me that I wouldn’t have even looked at.
I kept shaking my head… oh no… I wouldn’t wear that.
Animal print dresses
And even white trousers!?!
It’s fair to say, none of these items I would’ve bought without her help.
And yet all of which I actually now love!
In fact, I’m recording this in my white trousers – and I feel great! And brave as I have a 5 year old and it’s muddy outside haha
But the joy and delight of having clothes that fit, and suit me, and knowing how to accessorise them is a joy and dare I say it shopping is almost a pleasure!
