Listen. Because listening’s important:
Hi and welcome to the Re-Enchant Your Life reminder.
Your sacred pause in the day where you’re encouraged to take a moment to stop and tune into your inner wisdom and become present, so that you can reconnect to your personal power and confidently embrace who you’re becoming, as you Re-Enchant Your life and create the change you truly desire.
Today you’re being reminded to speak with intention.
To be able to speak freely is not a right every person has.
It’s powerful to speak your truth. Yet we live in a world, where doing so can result in harm.
If you can speak your truth, without fear of harm or serious consequences, stand tall and speak to people from your heart, from your deepest truth.
Speak up about what you believe in.
Make it clear about what you support and what you will no longer tolerate.
Create a safe space for other people to use their voice too, in using yours you will inspire others to do the same.
Always ensuring that you give as much value to listening.
You can heal yourself and others through conscious communication.
This isn’t a time to step back, to hide or quieten your voice.
This is a time that needs people to step forward and share their voice, their power and their truth from their heart.
In this very moment, just pause and take a breath, as you tap into the full power of your voice.
Today’s SHEro Action:
Today’s SHEro action is to use your voice to uplift yourself and others.
Speak your truth.
If there is someone you admire, be sure to tell them.
When someone completes and achieves something, congratulate them.
If you see an injustice, use your voice to speak out.
Push yourself out of your comfort zone and use your voice as a tool to heal, bring change and ultimately bring more freedom to your life.
Sing, shout, yodel, whisper, play with the power and creative force of your voice.
Pause, and take a breath. As you allow yourself to free your voice.
“I allow myself to use the power of my voice”
I’ll see you tomorrow for your daily reminder to Re-Enchant Your Life with me, Rebecca-Anuwen,
In the meantime, enjoy using your voice as you walk Your SHEro’s Journey!
When I was in my late teens, I could barely use my voice. I’d be terrified even to make a phone call to someone I didn’t know.
These days I love speaking to audiences, either recorded like for these podcasts or to live audiences at conferences, retreats, on the radio, red tents or teaching in my community.
I can’t imagine not being on stage in front of audiences.
But if 20 years ago you’d have said that one day I’d LOVE speaking in front of people, I would’ve run for the hills at the very thought it was coming my way.
I’d love to tell you that I had a huge epiphany, the clouds parted, angels sung and suddenly I was confident enough to speak to large groups of people.
It was boring in comparison.
I didn’t even consciously work on it.
My confidence to use my voice grew as I did.
The more I connected to who I was, the more confident I became.
The more I knew what was important to me, the easier it was to speak up.
The more I connected with what I wanted in life, it became easier to speak from my heart.
The more I focused on me, and ignored expectations and judgements, the easier it was to speak my truth.
To speak with intention doesn’t have to be a huge ordeal, you certainly don’t need to speak to audiences, you just have to choose to connect deeply with who you are and speak from that place.
