Listen. Because listening’s important:
Hi and welcome to the Re-Enchant Your Life reminder.
Your sacred pause in the day where you’re encouraged to take a moment to stop and tune into your inner wisdom and become present, so that you can reconnect to your personal power and confidently embrace who you’re becoming, as you Re-Enchant Your life and create the change you truly desire.
Today is the day to stop waiting.
To stop waiting for permission.
To stop waiting for someone to save you.
To stop waiting for others to see your worth, just so you can feel worthy.
Too many people, women in particular, fail to see their own worth, perhaps this is you too, or maybe you see it in your friends and family around you.
Consider this a reminder for yourself, or a gift you can share with others, as you remember or remind others, just how special you, and they, really are.
Your worth isn’t measured in what you can do, or give, to others.
Your worth isn’t dependant on who you think you are.
It’s not even measured by what you have.
Your worth doesn’t fluctuate as you experience the ups and downs that are inevitable as we journey through life.
Success, failure and material possessions are not the currency of worth.
No one, not even you, get to define your worth.
It just is.
You just have it.
You do not have to earn it, barter for it, or prove it.
Your worth is inherent.
Sometimes you may forget or lose touch with it, but it’s always within you, shining and radiant, waiting for you to remember, to connect with her and claim her.
In this very moment, right now, pause and take a breath, as you connect with the radiance inherent within you.
Today’s SHEro Action:
Today’s SHEro action is to tell a friend, or friends, what you admire in them.
To remind them of their worth.
Tell them how you feel without expectation, speak from your heart and give freely.
Pause, and take a breath. Allow yourself to receive feelings of worth.
Today’s Affirmation:
“I am worthy”
I’ll see you tomorrow for your daily reminder to Re-Enchant Your Life with me, Rebecca-Anuwen,
In the meantime, enjoy remembering your inherent worth!
PostScript
Every person alive has a narrative, a story that they believe about themselves. This story shapes how they see themselves and dictates how worthy they feel.
More often than not, the stories aren’t even true, or even based in truth, and many aren’t supportive.
They range from judgements about how you look to your ability to succeed.
To change the story and connect deeply to your own sense of worth, you need to listen to the stories that you tell yourself.
If the voice in your head is in anyway mean or dismissive of you, you need to know that it’s not your voice. Someone, a parent, a teacher, a care-giver, a friend, or even society at large has instilled that fake narrative in you.
Next time you think or feel something negative towards yourself, or something that’s even mildly critical, ask yourself: Who’s voice is that?
Because it’s most definitely not yours.
You might have said those words to yourself so many times that it’s started to sound like your voice, But it’s not.
Listen carefully.
And because these thoughts have been learned, guess what? You can unlearn them.
Chose to change the stories.
Chose to hold yourself with compassion.
Chose kind words for yourself.
Each time you notice the sound of the old stories, you interrupt the pattern, you loosen their grip and their power over you.
Each time you notice them, you replace them with your truth as you remember your authentic story a little more.
