Listen. Because listening’s important:
Hi and welcome to the Re-Enchant Your Life reminder.
Your sacred pause in the day where you’re encouraged to take a moment to stop and tune into your inner wisdom and become present, so that you can reconnect to your personal power and confidently embrace who you’re becoming, as you Re-Enchant Your life and create the change you truly desire.
Today you’re being reminded that sometimes you need to let go.
To let go of what no longer nourishes you.
To let go of anything that isn’t healthy for you.
It’s okay to let go of habits, beliefs, hobbies, and where possible even people and jobs, even if once they were aligned with you.
Everything changes, including you.
Change can bring up resistance and doubt, especially when these things make up part of your identity.
But once you let go, you’ll wonder why you held on for so long.
Once you let go of those things that don’t nourish you, you’ll realise that holding on to them was actually toxic to yourself, both in the actions you were taking and not taking, and in the story you were telling yourself so that you could hold on.
Once you let go, once they’re gone, you’ll feel a huge sense of relief and so much lighter, that you’ll only wish you’d done it sooner.
In this very moment, just pause, and take a breath. As you identify what no longer nourishes you.
Today’s SHEro Action:
Today’s SHEro action is to make a plan to let go of what no longer nourishes you.
When you think about a habit, belief, activity or person, do they pull your energy forward, make you feel expansive, and do they align with your values?
Or does the thought of them make your energy contract and make you feel uncomfortable?
Maybe you need support to help you break a habit, change your behaviours, or move on.
Maybe letting go completely isn’t an option. If it’s not, how can you limit your exposure to it or them, or change the way you approach or spend time with them?
Pause, and take a breath. As you get ready to make some changes.
“I honour myself enough to let go of those things that no longer nourish me”
I’ll see you tomorrow for your daily reminder to Re-Enchant Your Life with me, Rebecca-Anuwen,
In the meantime, enjoy feeling free and nourished on Your SHEro’s Journey!
One of the most toxic habits that I see in people, most people aren’t even aware they’re doing it.
And that is how you talk to yourself, your self-talk.
The way you speak to yourself and the way you talk about yourself to others significantly impacts how you feel about yourself and when done negatively it hinders your ability to accomplish things, and even prevents you from trying new things.
It’s common for people to use self-limiting language, berate themselves, compare themselves to others, or to expect the worst to happen.
But when you can reframe how you talk to yourself, and see the possibilities of outcomes, you’ll be able to appreciate and enjoy yourself and your experience of life so much more.
This isn’t about pretending that bad things don’t happen, but it’s about expecting the best before they have happened.
Let go of the potential downward spiral of unhelpful energy and expectations and set yourself up to receive and experience much more positive results.
