Hi and welcome to the Re-Enchant Your Life reminder.

Your sacred pause in the day where you’re encouraged to take a moment to stop and tune into your inner wisdom and become present, so that you can reconnect to your personal power and confidently embrace who you’re becoming, as you Re-Enchant Your life and create the change you truly desire.

Today you’re being reminded to focus on today.

Often you can be so focused on the enormity of where you want to be, what you want to achieve, your 1 year, 5 year, 10 year goals, that you feel too overwhelmed to actually take action.

But you won’t master life in a day, so focus on mastering the day and then keep going one day at a time.

You wouldn’t expect to master the violin in a week, so give yourself a break, and acknowledge that as a human, you’re ever evolving and that you’re still learning and growing, and will do until the day you die.

Mistakes are inevitable.

They’re allowed.

There will always be something new to work towards, a new goal or desire that catches your attention.

Give yourself permission to not have everything together, and to not be where you want to be.

Focus on where you are and what you do well.

Acknowledge all that you do right.

Acknowledge the progress you’ve made and continue to make.

You’re not the same women you were last year.

You’re probably not the same woman you were six months ago, possibly even one month ago.

Often it can be overwhelming at the thought of all that you want to be and do, but focus on the here and now.

Focus on what you can do today.

Focus on how you can weave more of the feelings and values that are important to you, into your day, rather than thinking everything seems too far out of reach.

Pause, and take a breath. As remind yourself how far you’ve come.

 

Today’s SHEro Action:

Today’s SHEro action is to acknowledge how far you’ve come.

Look back over the last 12 months and notice all that you have learnt, done and achieved.

Notice how much you’ve grown as a person, what skills you’ve gained, maybe you’ve become more confident, feel more connected or trust yourself more.

Look back through your calendar to really appreciate all that you’ve done and how far you’ve come.

Pause, and take a breath. As you allow yourself to recognise your own growth.

Today’s Affirmation:

“I fully recognise and appreciate all that I do and have done”

I recently started Tai Chi, and I’m really enjoying it.

I love the fluidity of the movement and how I can feel my body opening up and expanding with each practice.

When I first started, I had this lovely idea that I would learn one new move a week.

That seemed totally doable, that was until the third week.

I got stuck on a move.

I could do the first several moves fine, the flow, rhythm and breathing felt great. But adding the next move just got me stuck.

It felt like I was trying to rub my stomach and pat my head, and I’m not sure I ever mastered that!

So instead of being annoyed with myself, I broke the step down into even smaller steps.

I took the pressure off from my original goal, and just accepted where I was in my practice.

Reminding myself that I was brand new to this.

Reminding myself that what was really important to me was the practice and getting each move right, not just being able to stumble my way through the sequence without care and attention.

So, I continued to turn up to practice and focus on what I was doing in that class that day, I kept practicing and kept showing up.

I still feel that way now, celebrating moving forward no matter how slowly.
