Listen. Because listening’s important:
Hi and welcome to the Re-Enchant Your Life reminder.
Your sacred pause in the day where you’re encouraged to take a moment to stop and tune into your inner wisdom and become present, so that you can reconnect to your personal power and confidently embrace who you’re becoming, as you Re-Enchant Your life and create the change you truly desire.
Today you’re being reminded to fuel your optimism.
There is great power in optimism.
Many people can dismiss optimism as being unrealistic or childish. But that’s simply not true.
Within optimism are the seeds of dreams, an opening for there to be another way, a new experience, a different story to live your life by.
Optimism gives room for hope, and with hope comes the opportunity for change.
Optimism doesn’t mean that you ignore what’s going on around you, but it allows you to look at life through a different lens. A lens that helps you to find a new way to navigate life and the obstacles that you may find yourself facing.
Optimism is giving yourself a chance for a fresh start, a new beginning and a different way of being.
Fuel your optimism.
Allow your optimism to grow and expand.
As with expansive energy you may find that it lifts you out of your current situation so that you can see a new path forward, new opportunities and a new way of being.
You may still face challenges, but now you have a fresh perspective and hope on your side.
In this very moment, just pause and take a breath, as you give optimism a chance.
Today’s SHEro Action:
Today’s SHEro action is to explore your relationship with optimism.
Do you consider yourself an ‘optimist’ or a ‘realist’, which do you think is better, or do you see the value in both?
How do you feel about people who are optimistic?
Do you see the glass as half full or half empty?
How has this belief served you; when has it supported you and how does it hold you back?
How could your life be different if you allowed more optimism into your life?
Pause, and take a breath. As you let a wave of optimism flood your entire body.
“I embrace optimism and see my life with fresh perspective”
I’ll see you tomorrow for your daily reminder to Re-Enchant Your Life with me, Rebecca-Anuwen,
In the meantime, enjoy walking your SHEro’s Journey with a heart full of optimism!
I am ridiculously optimistic.
So much so that I have even jokingly apologised to clients for being able to see the good that has come from an uncomfortable situation.
I know this can be annoying, especially if someone is invested in their current situation.
However, I am certainly not an ‘everything happens for a reason’ person.
Some things are too horrific to be able to see the ‘good’ in the situation, but I can always see the way through.
I think there’s a huge difference in being optimistic and open for opportunities to change, rather than glossing over with an ‘everything happens for a reason’, to me that’s not optimistic that bypassing the discomfort of a situation.
And I think that’s why optimism can sometimes get a bad wrap for being naïve. True optimism isn’t naïve, it’s just leaving space for new opportunities, possibility and change to come your way.
