Listen. Because listening’s important:
Hi and welcome to the Re-Enchant Your Life reminder.
Your sacred pause in the day where you’re encouraged to take a moment to stop and tune into your inner wisdom and become present, so that you can reconnect to your personal power and confidently embrace who you’re becoming, as you Re-Enchant Your life and create the change you truly desire.
Today you’re being reminded that it’s natural to change.
As you experience more of life and discover more about who you are, you aren’t supposed to stay the same.
As you move forward in life, your needs, dreams and desires change as you do, and that’s okay.
You learn and grow.
Your failures and successes transform you.
Your lived experiences refine what you truly desire.
The more you learn, and unlearn, about your experience of life and the experiences of those around you, the more you hone what’s really important to you.
Just because something was true for you in the past, doesn’t mean that it’s still true for you now.
Just because you invested in time, energy and money in following a certain path in your life, doesn’t mean you have to stick with it forever more.
Just because it’s expected of you, doesn’t mean you have to comply.
All of your learning and experience is valuable, you just might not use it in the way you first expected you would.
Pause, and take a breath. As you allow yourself to change.
Today’s SHEro Action:
Today’s SHEro action is to reflect on your life and get honest about what you want to change.
Relationships, career choices, hobbies, do they still bring you joy and light you up, or have your needs and desires changed?
Have you outgrown any area of your life?
Have any areas become stale and become more of a chore?
Decide if you need to recommit and breathe fresh life into them, or do you need to accept that you’ve changed and it’s now time to move on?
Pause, and take a breath. As you allow yourself to be honest.
“I embrace my growth and the change it brings”
I’ll see you tomorrow for your daily reminder to Re-Enchant Your Life with me, Rebecca-Anuwen,
In the meantime, enjoy your unfolding growth as you travel on Your SHEro’s Journey!
I’m in my early 40’s.
When I was 18 years old, I loved to dance at clubs. I went out dancing with friends most nights of the week.
I didn’t really care what the music was, as long as I could dance.
A few clubs that I went to had two entrances.
One entrance for people who were over 25 years old, and one entrance for everyone else.
In my wise 18 years of life, I can clearly remember thinking ‘why on earth were 25-year-olds out dancing, surly they should be tucked up at home with their cocoa’.
When I got to 25 years old, I’m so glad I had changed my mind, as instead of thinking I had to be tucked up at home with my very own cocoa, I could still be out dancing!
And now it was even better, as I really appreciated that I could totally skip the queues and go straight in and start dancing, as the entrance for 25 years olds was always so much shorter haha
Allow yourself to change your mind.
Experience, and well age, changes us, and often that’s a great thing!
