On today’s episode of the Pinch of Magick podcast I’m joined by Gina Martin, a ritualist, teacher and healer, where we discuss the power of stories to heal not only ourselves, but the land we live on.

If you’ve ever felt a connection to the land, or wanted to deepen your connection to the land, this episode is for you.

She shares her experience of creating a better relationship with the land we live on and does so through the beauty of story.

Join us for a heartfelt conversation about the things we often take most for granted – the land upon which we live.

In this episode we discuss:

  • The importance of the connection between stories and the land
  • Stories as mediumship for healing on a planetary level
  • Why so many people are looking for a place to call home, a place where they can feel a sense of  groundedness and rootedness
  • The need people have to claim ownership of specific site
  • People identifying with their claimed stories from the land they live on, or from the ‘mythical’ land of their ancestors
  • How we fool ourselves with our stories
  • The consequences of the rematriation of the land
  • Stewarding of the land and the importance of knowing the land you live in

  • Spirituality and its connection with the land
  • Changing the stories and unplugging from the family stories of ‘joint misery’
  • If the actions you’re taking aren’t life affirming, don’t bother
  • The collective soil, what is the soil you live in?
  • How are you contributing to the soil around you?
  • Connecting with the folklore of the land we live in, even when there’s no books
  • Listening to the land
  • The way we do things often derives from necessity, not what is true or optimal for today

Today on the A Pinch of Magick Podcast I’m joined by Author, Podcast host and Tree Whisperer Holly Worton as we discuss the importance and transformative experience of connecting with nature.

If you’ve ever wondered if you can communicate with trees, or other plant spirits, this conversation is for you.

This is especially for you, if you think you can’t!

We all have a favourite tree or a story about a tree. This episode goes one step further and explores how you can actually talk with trees and listen to their wisdom.

In this episode Holly shares her transformative story of how listening to guidance she went from kissing a tree to years later being on national TV sharing with the nation that trees can talk.

Join me for this inspiring conversation – you know she had me at ‘trees’!

In this episode we chat about:

  • How Holly’s connection with the trees started after an Akashic record reading
  • How Holly got lost in the forest and it was the trees that gave her clear directions to find her way out (and at the time, wondering if she was making it up)
  • Forest bathing
  • Why Holly wrote her books about trees, and how this was different from her previous books
  • How Holly received hate mail and judgment after being on national TV sharing about talking with trees
  • Solo camping trips as a way to slow down and reconnect to yourself
  • The importance of ‘coming back to your senses’ for your energetic health
  • Walking and running long distance trails
  • It being okay to stop what you’re doing and enjoy what you’re surrounded by
  • The importance of walking and pilgrimage
  • Sacred sites that are special to Holly
  • How to connect with nature and trust the conversations you have with the trees and nature
  • And much more!

On today’s episode of the A Pinch of Magick podcast I’m joined by Emma Griffin, of Sacred Space Cornwall as we talk about her path to claiming her spiritual gifts and living ‘in public’ as a witch.

Emma’s story is a powerful reminder to not wait for a wake-up call to start doing what’s really important to you.

She takes us through her journey from fashion designer, interior decorator, celebrity photographer to intuitive channel and magickal mentor. Whilst having two children, and three cancer diagnosis’s within 10 years…

Emma’s childhood may have been different from most, in the fact that she grew up in a house immersed in magick – her mum was a witch and her dad was a psychic medium, but it didn’t mean that it was quicker for her to claim her own space as a witch.

In this episode we discuss:

  • Emma’s background in art, fashion design, and photography and how this has influenced her craft
  • What it was like growing up in a magickal household
  • The importance of fostering relationships with spirits and keeping yourself safe
  • The difference between intuition and fear in spiritual growth
  • The transition to spiritual healing and mentoring after personal loss
  • The power of intuition and the importance of trusting yourself
  • Connecting with children’s natural abilities to see spirits
  • Her intimate relationship with death
  • What she remembers from her near death experience
  • Holding space for others and maintaining your own energy and energetic health
  • The importance of ritual, sisterhood and sacred space
  • How Emma connects with spirits and passes on their messages (she even has one for me! One I’m still not ready to hear…)

In a world where people often feel disconnected from themselves and their spiritual side, Emma’s journey reminds us of the importance of trusting our intuition and embracing our true selves.

Whether you’re a witch who is ‘in’ or ‘out’ of the broom cupboard, or simply someone looking for inspiration, listening to Emma’s story will inspire you to dig deep, trust your instincts, and find your own path.

Tune in and let Emma’s experiences help you unlock the power of your own inner witch.
