They can shine a light on why you make certain decisions and avoid particular situations. Why you like one person and why another totally annoys you. It can help you to understand what holds you back and what pulls you forward.
Getting clear on what values and feelings make up your own inner landscape, can give you essential information on how to navigate the world of your outer landscape.

Remember this is about you aligning with what’s important to you. Not what you think is right, or what looks best, but what FEELS aligned with who you are.

As you approach this exercise, try not to ‘think’ about your answers, but go with what FEELS right, not what you *think* is right.
And remember, this is only for right now, your priorities may change next year, next month or even next week, but the chances are your Essentials will remain constant.
After completing these exercises, you now have a deeper understanding of what’s really important to you, as your list of qualities, traits, values and feelings are beginning to reflect the truth of who you are.
