Trust Your Knowledge

Trust Your Knowledge

Welcome to The Re-Enchant Your Life podcast with me, Rebecca-Anuwen.

I’m back with some inspiration and an intuitive twist, as we use Oracle cards and charmcasting, to answer the questions that you have.

On the last episode, we looked at the symbolism of The Eggs, and believing in your potential. Today, we move on to the card, The Map, and you’re reminded to trust your knowledge.

Where in your life do you feel that you have a question about trusting yourself more, perhaps you’ve been doubting yourself, or even thinking that you’re not enough, that you need something more, that you need to be something more.

Take a moment to ask your question about trusting yourself and your wisdom.

And then we’ll start by looking at the meaning of the SHEro Toolkit card, taking the wisdom from the guidebook, then I’m going to draw a second card so that we can explore how that card adds more meaning and more depth to the first card. Then I’m going to draw a charm, allowing us again, to dive deeper into the meaning of the message for you.

The card today is The Map.

The Map- Trust Your Knowledge

Re-enchant your life podcast

What do you think of when you think of maps?

Do you know how to read them up? Do you ever need a map? Do you think of a map of the landscape, a map of public transport, or you’re very comfortable using the maps on your phone?

What does the map symbolise to you? Perhaps they’re fusty and outdated. Perhaps you love the beauty of them and the depth and the intricacy of the detail.

I’m going to start by sharing my thoughts, but as always, what’s important is what resonates for you. I want to give you like a starting point, something to hear and say, Oh yes! or, Oh no! to, because at least then you know how you feel about it. Only you have the right answer for you.

This podcast is an exercise on you listening to yourself and being able to trust the information that you receive.

Let’s begin.

As I read from the guidebook, notice what words resonate for you? Perhaps there’s a particular word or a sentence that feel is important part for you. Perhaps it takes you off on your whole thought journey.

Trust whatever comes up.

This is card number 10 of the deck. And it says:

The Map, trust your knowledge, trust what you know to be true. Don’t trust your fears.

Trust Your Knowledge “Trust what you know to be true, not your fears” Maps are easily portable, so we can carry them to show us how to get where we want to go. They indicate the pathways or directions to exactly where we want to be, allowing us to navigate obstacles and visit places of interest we might otherwise miss.

The Map reminds you to trust your knowledge Sometimes, it can be wonderful to set off and try new things with no restrictions. Just letting your heart lead you wherever you feel like going can create magical experiences. The risk is that you can get lost, end up somewhere you never expected, or get results that you don’t want. When this happens, it’s important to know and understand how to get back to your centre, gather your thoughts and resources, and try again.

Trusting your intuition is important, and being able to blend that intuition with discernment and knowledge is invaluable. Use your knowledge to help you navigate the challenges you encounter on the path to your dreams and desires.

Being able to blend the intuition with discernment and knowledge is invaluable. Use your knowledge to help you navigate the challenges you encounter on the path, your dreams and desires.

The SHEro Action suggests: Expand your knowledge. What fascinates you? What would you love to learn more about? Sign up for a course, read books, listen to podcasts and watch videos. Really immerse yourself in a subject to gain a greater understanding of it. Don’t choose something because you think you should or pick it because you think it will be useful. Choose a subject because it inspires you, it fascinates you, and you can’t wait to learn more. Pause and take a breath as you value your knowledge.

Affirmation: “I trust and value my growing knowledge.”

Where in your life does that information of having a map or following a tried and tested path, or even trusting your own wisdom? It’s like, you’ve done something before it’s either worked or it hasn’t worked. And when it hasn’t worked, it’s given you information. And when it has worked, it’s given you information, that’s wisdom, that’s expanding your knowledge.

And I would just like to say about maps… maps are very important. In the UK, we have a walk called the Coast to Coast and it’s a route that walks from one side of England to the other at the skinniest point, up towards the North of England. It’s about 190 miles long, or I should say wide. I walked it once, many, many years ago.

And one day, on the walk, I was so tired. When you buy the map, because it’s for the whole width of the UK, there’s a special map you can buy that, one of the ordinance survey maps that we have over here, which cover huge areas. But because I was backpacking at the time we, I bought the special map that only does a little bit above and below the actual route that you’re taking, so it can all be on one map.

I was tired and decided to take a route that went off map. I saw a mountain and I was like, Oh, I can’t climb this mountain today. I’m just going to skirt around the bottom of it.

Guess what? That didn’t work.

I got all the way to the edge and it was just a sheer drop. In my exhaustion, I had to walk all the way back the way that I’d come, which is about an hour off track to get back on the map, to do the route that was tried and tested, to do the route the way that it should have been done.

I do trust my maps ever since then.

That was a very tiring lesson to learn.

Where in your life right now, do you need to trust your knowledge, trust what’s tried and tested?

Perhaps you’re giving someone like a fifth or sixth chance and you’re like; do you know what, to trust my knowledge, I know this isn’t the path that’s best for me.

When we spend extra time scrolling through Facebook, when we’d promised ourselves that we were going to go and get some more fresh air or, you know, move our body or dance around the kitchen. And it’s like; Oh, hang on a minute, I know this doesn’t work out well.

How can you trust yourself more?

Let’s draw a second card to help bring more clarity into the energy of trusting yourself and trusting your knowledge.

Oh my goodness… so we have The Map, and now we have The Compass, what a perfect pairing. The Map says, trust your knowledge. And The Compass says align with your inner compass.

ADDITIONAL CARD: The Compass

Re-enchant your life podcast

Again, it feels very much like the podcast earlier in the week, when it was all about trusting your potential and then sinking into that space of intuitive darkness. And now it’s like, trust your knowledge and align with that inner compass.

It really does feel like the inward and outward alignment. We’re going in to trust our knowledge, so we can express it externally. And at the same time, we’re doing the same with The Compass. It feels like this action orientated energy, but once you have aligned within, so, trusting your knowledge, believing in yourself, aligning with your inner compass, that path you know you want to follow.

What do you think of when you think of compasses?

Again, it’s a very practical tool. Perhaps this is about you being very practical in the way that you address the situation or the question that you have right now.

There’s absolutely a time for believing in magic and waiting for things to happen in their own divine time. And sometimes there’s a time when we just need to just need to get moving. We just need to take action. We just need to dust off those tools, get the map, spread it on the table, get our compass, and then take action.

How do both of those show up for you? Do you know what your inner compass aligns with?

In The Witch Academy, there’s a course called The ART of Being a Witch, where people write their own life philosophies, which is all about aligning with your inner compass.

Because, quite often we have what I’ve heard called ‘junk philosophies’, where we take on other people’s philosophies without even considering whether they’re true for us. And we usually take those on through our environments, families, friends, and you have to ask; are they actually even yours? Are they aligned with the truth of who you are?

What are the most important values in your life?

What is it that you want to be true in your life?

Just to explore writing your own life philosophy so you can align with your inner compass. And then once you have that life philosophy, it then becomes your map because you can always find your way back to centre.

You can go off, try and find a route round to the bottom of the mountain, and if it doesn’t work, you’re like, Oh, okay, at least I’m not lost… Maybe frustrated and annoyed that I took this detour that I didn’t have to take. And I’m extra tired now, but I do know how to get back on the route again. And so all I’ve lost really is, you know, maybe a little bit of pride, maybe you have sore feet, but I’m back where I need to be so I can carry on moving forward.

And so that very much feels like this ‘align with your inner compass’, and The Map right now is encouraging you to get clear on what is yours, so that you can trust the information that you have.

Okay. Let’s see what charm we’re going to add to this.

Oh, we have a roller skate.

ADDITIONAL CARD: The Rollerskate

Re-enchant your life podcast

It’s a quad roller-skate. It’s not a fancy in-liner, it’s, it’s a quad boot. And so again, you know, just like I was saying, this feels like it’s a card of taking action, of aligning your inside, your soul purpose, your life philosophy, your inner compass, trusting your knowledge, trusting that you already have enough. You already know enough and then skating forward.

What does roller-skates mean to you?

For me, it reminds me of school roller discos, where every Friday night there’d be a roller disco. Everyone would be there with their little roller skates and dancing or trying to dance in their skates.

What do they represent to you?

For me, it’s very playful. It’s a nice, smooth gliding movement. It suggests there’s no bumps in the road. Cause that’d be a bit difficult. Wouldn’t it, to go down a mountain on your roller skates? But I’m sure someone has done it.

But it’s like, just to let yourself have that freedom of movement, that freedom of expression, to know that once you’ve aligned everything inside, everything else becomes easier.

And it’s almost like, even those obstacles, even those challenges, even those bumps in the road, when you know who you are, when you trust your own self, when you trust your wisdom, when you know who you are and what you want from life and where you’re heading, those obstacles become easier to navigate.

It’s almost like you float over them. ‘Oh, it’s an obstacle. That’s okay. I know where I’m going’. Instead of that obstacle being such a drama that you can’t actually think or experience anything else, you’re just like; yeah, of course there’s an obstacle here. It’s just part of life.

It’s like having very inflated tires on a car. When you go over a bump in the road, you don’t notice it. If those tires were flat, if they were flat because of fear and doubt and confusion and overwhelm, you’d feel every pebble in the road as your teeth were jangling together.

Trust your knowledge, align with your inner compass and strap on your roller skates.

When you think of those cards together, how does that answer your question for you?

What comes to mind?

Is there a card or just the charm, is there one of those three items that speaks more to you in how you answer that question?

As always do, let me know. I love hearing from you. Get in touch, let me know what you think.

And as always, thank you for joining me. And I’ll see you again very soon for another episode of the Re-Enchant Your Life podcast, where we’re going to carry on activating your intuition, looking at symbology, so that you really learn to trust yourself and allowing yourself to get the answers that you seek, knowing that you can connect to the rich symbolism of the world to get those answers so that you can ultimately make better choices in your life because you trust yourself.

Until next time I will see you again very soon.

Believe in Your Potential

Believe in Your Potential

Welcome to The Re-Enchant Your Life Podcast with me, Rebecca-Anuwen.

I’m back with some inspiration and an intuitive twist, as we use Oracle cards and charmcasting to answer those questions you have.

On the last episode, we looked at the symbolism of The Bridge and moving forward confidently. Today, we move on to the card; The Eggs, and you’re reminded to believe in your potential.

Where in your life do you have questions around believing in yourself and your potential?

Perhaps you’ve been wanting to make a change, but you’ve been doubting yourself. Now is the time to ask the question, as we explore your potential.

We’ll start by looking at the meaning of the SHEro Toolkit card, taking the wisdom from the guidebook, then I’ll a second card so that we can explore how that card adds more meaning to the first card. Then I’m going to draw a charm, allowing us again, to add a deeper layer of meaning, to the message for you.

The card today is The Eggs.

The Eggs – Believe in Your Potential

Re-enchant your life podcast

What do you think about when you think of eggs?

The card shows a nest with three white eggs in it. What feelings does that evoke for you?

I’m going to start by sharing my thoughts, but as always, whatever you think is far more important and relevant. Use my thoughts as a starting point. Something maybe to inspire you, but it’s not the right answer. Only you have the right answer for you.

Let’s begin.

The guidebook says The Eggs.

‘Believe in your potential’. You are capable of more than you think’.

Eggs hold the potential for all life. They’re the symbol of fertility, life, birth and creation. External forces can break an egg and end the possibility of life. But when the pressure comes from within life begins.

The eggs, remind you to believe in your potential.

It’s time to name and claim your magic. To step more fully into things that make you, you. Give your logical mind a rest, put the to-do list to one side and just for a moment, give your attention to your creative self. Honour the endless creativity and potential that resides within you. You have the creative power of birth. You can birth ideas, projects, writing, art, cakes, maybe even babies, let your vision and ideas burst forth.

Embrace your passions, even if they’re wild and messy. And even if they scare you for a little, or a whole lot. Step out of the familiar so you can start to create a life that you’ve yet to imagine.

Wake up to your gifts, your talents. Claim them, own them.

Colour outside the lines, colour within the lines, they’re your lines, so do whatever you want to do with them. Just be sure to express and give voice to your creative potential and power.

This is your magic and it’s time to use it.

The SHEro Action in the guidebook says:

Release your creative potential and step out of your daily routine, even if it’s only for two minutes, and do something creative . Sing, dance, create something for different for dinner. Draw, write about your day or craft a poem, doodle, colour in a colouring book, do a dot-to-dot drawing or make a mandala, whatever you do, allow yourself and your creative fires to lead and see what potential you can unleash.

How does that relate to what your question is right now?

I’m just going to grab the deck and just shuffle the cards to find out what other information we need to know when we’re looking at believing in our potential.

And it’s The New Moon card.

ADDITIONAL CARD: The New Moon

Re-enchant your life podcast

The picture is of a moon that is black, and it says, ‘let your inner wisdom guide you’.

When we’re looking at believing in your potential, it’s then asking you to let your inner wisdom guide you. And for me, the first thing that comes to mind is that for you to release your potential, you need to step into your wisdom, and not to censor yourself.

You know, when you’re having that inner wisdom, it’s about the energy of trusting yourself, of trusting that you do have that wisdom within you and not to look to other people. It’s about being your cheerleader, to encourage you or to remind you how great you are.

You already have that greatness within you.

That’s something you have to claim for yourself. It’s something that you have to be able to rely on yourself to evoke those feelings of enoughness from within, and not hope that other people are going to validate you or, or build you up. Of course we want friends and family in our life that are going to be cheerleaders for us, that are going to encourage us, to lift us up, and remind us how amazing we are.

But this really talks about that you have to be able to do that for yourself too.

Looking at the cards again, it’s a very feminine energy, isn’t it? We’ve got the energy of The Eggs and The New Moon that kind of dark, energetic, womb space energy, and both cards have the energy of creation. And The New Moon, if you think of that dark, energetic womb space; no womb necessary. It’s that space of creation.

Then The Eggs are the seeds that are coming to fruition as they’re held within the nest. Really it’s like taking a moment to really appreciate who you are and to cut out the noise of everyone else around you.

I know I say this a lot, but it’s so important to let go of the judgments and the expectations.

What do you want for you, to trust your own inner wisdom, not to think that someone else knows what’s best for you. Or someone can tell you what to do.

It’s like, yes, of course we can take inspiration. We can take guidance. We can look for other people’s experiences and expertise and wisdom, but it’s you who has to own your own wisdom. You’re the one that knows what’s best for you, believing in your potential and really trusting yourself, trusting that you know how.

Trusting that you have those answers you seek.

I know when I say that people probably want to poke me in the eye and say, ‘no, Rebecca, I don’t know’. But you really do know.

As I was saying, it’s a very feminine, very creative energy, stepping into the mysteries. When you have that potential, like the book said, the external forces; the judgments expectations, they can break the egg, they can break the potential.

But when you break it from within, when you claim your own power, your own potential, you break free from the shell and you become new life.

Where, and again, this is like the energy of The New Moon, just take a moment and close your eyes, just take a minute to breathe, and ask yourself; what is it you’re waiting to break forth and bring into the world, as opposed to everyone else telling you what you should do, as they try to crack your egg from the outside.

And actually, as I’m saying these words, it’s like also should also trust the timing. Other people might be like; you’ve got to do it now. Now, now, now, now. And so they’re trying to break the egg from the outside again, breaking the egg and it’s just going to be a runny, messy yolk.

Whereas, actually, if you wait for your own divine timing, then you can break the shell and emerge at the time that’s perfect for you, trusting that wisdom, and to know what is right for you.

Okay. Let’s pick a charm and see what we get today.

Just delving my hand, deep into the charms… Ooh, it’s an old fashioned telephone, who can remember those?

ADDITIONAL CARD: The Telephone

Re-enchant your life podcast

It’s one of those telephones that not only is it old fashioned, but it has the circular dial on. Oh my goodness. I remember these, where to get your number, you’d have to put your finger in the hole and turn it all the way round. Let go, let it the wheel spin backwards, and then put your finger in the next number, turn again.

How did that work?

If you look at this phone, we definitely understand where the phrase ‘hang-up’ comes from. Because obviously on a mobile phone, you don’t really hang anything up, you press a button. This charm has a handle and a wire on top of the phone.

This is a very cute little charm.

What does the phone represent to you?

How does that add a different flavour to the cards?

The cards have been very feminine energy, not so much female, but feminine, in quality. And now we’re adding in the phone.

The phone to me, represents communication. I just heard; your intuition’s calling.

What does the phone add to ‘believing in your potential’ and ‘letting your inner wisdom guide you’?

It’s interesting actually, because as I was saying ‘your intuition’s calling’, when you pick up the phone and put it to your ear, you’re focused on that conversation. You’re not really being distracted by your video call filters, or group chats, or anything like that, like you might be on a mobile phone, or a zoom call.

This is an old fashioned phone is back to basics.

We might not want that anymore. Things have moved on. However, sometimes going back to basics is what we need. Sometimes we love fancy. And sometimes just a walk on the beach, or a walk in the countryside is enough to refresh our soul. We don’t need to do anything more fancy than that.

And that’s what this telephone feels like. It’s like, where do you need to focus, and to shut out the noise so that you can get really clear with yourself, to get really clear on having that direct communication without distractions. Of going back into your own body and talking to yourself about your own potential or listening to the wisdom.

We’ve got the message to believe your potential, and let your inner wisdom guide you.

And now we’re listening. And listening is so important. It’s one of the reasons I do the podcast, but there is something really important about learning to listen, because when we listen, we listen to ourselves better, our intuition better. We learn to trust ourselves, but we also listen to other people better. And the world is so much better-off when we learn to listen actively, we can hear the nuances. We’re not waiting to speak over somebody else. We’re genuinely listening. We’re in communication, this is like coming back to yourself, to be in communication with yourself.

How does all of that sound?

Do come and tag me in Facebook or on Instagram at @TheModernWitchWay, and let me know how these cards and the charm, what message they had for you today, and how that’s reminding you to really believe in yourself and your potential.

Where maybe have you been doubting yourself, and now you know it’s time to listen to you. Do come and let me know. I love hearing from you.

Thank you for joining me. I’ll see you again very soon for another episode of The Re-Enchant Your Life Podcast, where we’re going to carry on listening, getting you listening to your intuition, getting you looking at the puzzle pieces, bringing together your own answers so that you can move forward, confidently, trusting the messages, trusting your intuition and knowing that the universe is always talking to you.

Thank you for joining me. I’ll see you again very soon, until next time.

Move Forward Confidently

Welcome back to the Re-Enchant Your Life Podcast with me, Rebecca Anuwen.

I’m back with some inspiration and intuitive twist to get you connected to your intuition and listening to the messages.

On the last episode, we looked at the symbolism of The Key and the importance of reclaiming your power. Today, we move on to the card, The Bridge, and we’re reminded to move forward confidently.

Take a moment to focus on the question that you have for today. The question you want, some intuitive guidance on, as we explore the energy of The Bridge.

Where in your life do you need some guidance and intuitive insights on being more confident?

As always, we’ll start by looking at the meaning of the SHEro Toolkit cards, then I’m going to draw a second card to give us more insight into how you can be more confident. And then I’m going to pull a charm to add a different dimension into the information that you receive.

Let’s start by looking at the information from the guidebook.

The Bridge – Move Forward Confidently

Re-Enchant Your Life Podcast

Sometimes to move forward, you must let go of what’s been holding you back.

Bridges, connect us and move us from one place to another. As we cross over chasms, rivers and other apparently impossible boundaries. They symbolise the death of the old, as you move forward in your journey through life.

The Bridge reminds you to move forward confidently.

We all doubt ourselves too often. We look outside of ourselves for validation and seek confirmation from others for the answers we receive. But the more we look outside of ourselves, the more conflicting information we receive, and the more confused we get.

You know what you want, and you know what you have to do to get there. You may deny that you know, or avoid admitting what you must do, but trust that you really do have the answers you seek. Trust in your inner wisdom and listen to your intuition. Other people may have opinions, but ultimately, you know what’s best for you. Trust yourself and stay true to your path as you move forward with confidence.

The SHEro Action reminds us to move forward confidently.

Think of one area in your life where you’ve been doubting yourself.

Shut out all the noise, and put expectations, opinions and judgements to one side.

Then tap into your intuition for guidance. You could meditate, journal or use divination to connect with your intuition.

Whatever method you use, trust that you have the answers you seek.

Believe in your ability to know what’s best for you.

Then move forward confidently with the knowledge you’ve gained. Pause and take a breath as you move forward confidently in the direction of your dreams.

Affirmation:

“I believe in myself.”

What do you think of when you think of bridges?

The guidebook talks about knowing that you have the answers you seek. I have to say I absolutely 100% believe that. However, on my journey to where I am today, every time someone said that to me, I wanted to poke them in the eye. I was like, if I knew I had the answers, don’t you think I’d have the answers?

But of course, conditioning fears, judgments, expectations, limiting beliefs, self-doubt, lack of worth. All of that stuff can make us not trust ourselves. It can make us doubt our own ability to know what’s right for us, it can undermine our own confidence. It seems easier to ask other people, to look outside of ourselves, to validate our own feelings.

And, you know, it’s like for years and years and years, I was looking for my soul purpose, and I was seeking and seeking and seeking.

It felt quite virtuous. It’s like, Oh, you know, I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing, so I can just make it up as I go along.

But of course, actually what I wanted was someone else to tell me what I, what I had to do. And, you know, I sought loads of advice about what to do. I’ve shared this many times before, but I was actually just looking for permission to be me. And as soon as I realised that what I wanted was permission to be me, it wasn’t really that I needed to know what my soul purpose was, or my life purpose, or whatever you want to call it. I just wanted permission to be me, to give myself permission, to do all the things I wanted to do, to give myself permission, to do all the things I wanted to do, to explore the things I wanted to explore, to follow my many passions.

And as soon as I realised that, and I stopped seeking externally, it’s like, Oh, I can move forward confidently now because I know who I am. I know what turns me on and lights me up. I know what it is I wanted to do, to have, to contribute.

I suddenly had the confidence in all of those answers and it’s like, Oh, this is how I get to be me.

When people say; you really do have the answers you seek, after you’ve done the eye roll…, just ask yourself what if that was true? What if me seeking was actually me not wanting to take responsibility for my choices, or not feeling worthy of having what it is you actually desire, and just check in with yourself that you aren’t hiding or delaying, because once we know what we want to do, once we know where we want to be going, it might mean difficult conversations.

It might mean changing our behaviors. It might mean seeing ourselves differently.

All of which can be a little challenging, but absolutely doable.

When you think of your question, think about how you need to step up and take responsibility for your dreams, for your desires, for taking ownership of that question that you’re looking for the answer for, and become curious.

What if you did know the answer?

What if you were just camouflaging it from yourself for a little bit, because of fear, or being nervous about change? All completely understandable, all completely acceptable. But what if right now in this moment, you gave yourself permission to know what it is you wanted?

So, I’m just going to grab the deck to find out what else we need to know about moving forward confidently.

Obviously, if you have your own deck of cards, you have your own SHEro Toolkit cards, shuffle your cards, and draw another card to find out what guidance that card has for you.

It’s The Cup.

ADDITIONAL CARD: The Cup

Re-Enchant Your Life Podcast

It’s a red cup and saucer, with white hearts on. And the card says: honour your needs.

As you walk forward confidently, being honest with yourself about who you are, and what you want to do, ask yourself; what are your needs? And then honour those needs.

Give yourself what you need. Like we were just saying, it’s like, sometimes it can be scary to make change, to move forward, but if you honour what you need, maybe you need the love and support of a community that get you.

Perhaps you just need to give yourself permission.

Perhaps you need to rest to take stock, to integrate.

Perhaps you need to get some fresh air to get, get some good sleep.

What do you need to feel more confident in yourself?

Because if you’re knackered, if you’ve not slept properly for a long time, which let’s face it, is not difficult under the current circumstances. If you’re not eating well, if you’re forgetting to breathe deeply and exhale fully, if you’re not moving your body, if you’re not just doing the basic things, it becomes very quick to doubt yourself, to not trust yourself, to undermine our own confidence.

Those fears, those doubts, those expectations can take hold when we’re not feeling at our best, when we’re not feeling whole.

So, to answer the question that you’re looking for right now, what do you need to feel more full?

Let’s find a charm to go with this. I’m just going to rustle in my charm box.

And again, if you have some charms, pull some out, or pull one out and see what you get.

I’ve just pulled out a kite.

ADDITIONAL CHARM: The Kite

Re-enchant Your Life Podcast

What does a kite represent to you?

When I think of a kite, it’s flying free, flying high swirling, playful, joyful, limited by nothing because it’s, it’s tethered, it’s anchored, hopefully you’re holding onto this kite and you know, you’re controlling it, but you can’t make it do what, well actually of course you can, if you’re extra good, but it’s more of a union. It’s more you’re working together.

You’re working with the wind. You’re working with the material. You’re getting a feel for how to move left and right, when you need to pull harder, when you need to let go.

And it’s that moving forward confidently to honour your needs, it’s finding that balance, that harmony, because even if the wind feels like it’s knocking, you left, or it’s knocking you, right, and that wind could be expectations and judgment. It’s like, actually you get to navigate. You get to move through that wind. You get to actually play in that wind. You get to duck and dive… or whatever kite language is.. you get to fly high.

You get to play in that energy. It doesn’t get to control you. You get to duck and weave, and navigate through that energy.

As you move forward confidently, know that you have the confidence, the resilience, that the knowledge to duck and weave as necessary, to laugh and to joke, and maybe even to cry sometimes, as you go crashing into the floor, hopefully not literally, but you get to, to play in the energy, and you get to decide what you’re taking on, or whether you’re playing, because it’s that energy of honouring your needs.

What do you need to do?

Do you need to, I wish I knew kite terminology, but do you need to let out some more string or pull it down hard to anchor the energy, to catch the wind?

How can you find that balance and harmony of letting yourself play, or letting yourself navigate through those winds of change as you move forward confidently. Because of course change isn’t always easy.

But knowing that you have the resources, the inner resilience to keep moving forward. I heard this thing once and I thought it was lovely. It said: you’ve survived your hardest day ever. And you’re still here.

Thank goodness, you’re still here. Amazing, you’re still here. You’ve survived your worst day. I’ve survived my worst day, and I’ve had several, and we’re still here.

We learned to duck to dive to…. Someone, tell me what kites do. … What do they do? What are they doing? there must be a kite fan out there who can tell me! …to move gracefully, to know that even if, as a kite, we hit the floor, we can go; ‘Oh, that didn’t work so well. Let’s try again’. Pick yourself up.

I keep going to say; dust yourself off. because when I see people flying kites, it’s usually at the beach, and see the kites dart into the sand, and you think, oops. And you know, they pick the kite up, they chuck it back in the winds and off they go again. And I’m sure that’s better terminology than ‘chuck it in the wind’. But now, for me, that’s what these cards are telling you.

Whatever your question is, move forward, confidently, honour your needs, and as you do so enjoy the ride, you know, enjoy that inner resilience.

How does that sound to you?

Let me know what message you got. Let me know how you can embody more of the symbolism of what a bridge means to you, of what a cup means to you, of what a kite means to you.

In fact, as I just read The Cup, it was like sharing, you know, sharing a cup of tea, having a cup of tea with a friend, even if it’s virtually at the moment. You can still show up and share that.

What are your needs right now, perhaps it is to reach out, perhaps it is just to be witnessed, to be seen, to be heard?

If you feel like you have nobody in your life right now to witness or see you, send me a message, I’ll respond. Let me witness you, let me hear you. We are never alone. We really aren’t. It might feel like it at the moment, but we really don’t have to be.

So, thank you.

Thank you for joining me today. I hope you are finding them interesting and feeling more connected to your own intuition. Do let me know what insights you’re getting for yourself, just because I love it. I love symbolism, you may have noticed.

I’ll see you again very soon for our next episode of the Re-Enchant Your Life podcast, where we’re going to carry on spiralling deeper on this journey, where I really want you to learn to trust your intuition, to help you for no other reason than to trust yourself so that you can make better choices, so that you can hear the wisdom of your soul which speaks to you through the language of your intuition.

Until next time, I’ll see you again very soon.

Reclaim Your Power

Reclaim Your Power

Welcome back to the Re-Enchant Your Life Podcast with me, Rebecca Anuwen.

We’re back to give you some inspiration and to get you using your intuition.

On the last episode, we looked at the symbolism of The Boots, and the importance of starting now. Today we move on to the card, The Key, where you’re encouraged to reclaim your power.

Take a moment to focus on the question that you have today, large or small. It doesn’t matter.

Think of that question that you’re looking for the answer to.

We’re going to use The Key and it’s symbolism to guide you towards that answer. Where in your life do you need some guidance on reclaiming your power?

We’ll start by looking at the meaning of The SHEro Toolkit card, and then I’ll draw a second card so that we can explore how that changes the idea of reclaiming your power. Perhaps it will give you some more insight into how to reclaim your power in a more conscious way. Then I’m going to draw a charm, allowing us again, to build your own story, to find the answer to your question.

The card today is the key.

The Key – Reclaim Your Power

Re-enchant your life podcast

What do you think of when you think of keys?

Perhaps they’re old ornate keys, perhaps they’re very practical keys, perhaps they’re one of those Ikea keys, like an Allen key.

When you think of The Key, what’s the first key that comes to mind? What is it unlocking or locking? Perhaps it’s a door, perhaps it’s a treasure chest, perhaps it’s a safe in your house. Perhaps it’s something like your heart, locking your heart, keeping it safe.

Where have you used a lock and a key? Where have you locked away your power or where have you unlocked your power?

Let’s start with what the guidebook has to say. You might want to close your eyes and just see what words resonate for you. See which ones appear to be said louder. See which ones that you’re like, ‘Oh, those are the words for me’. Or perhaps it will just start a chain reaction of thoughts in your own mind, leading you to the answer that you have within.

The guidebook says:

The Key: Reclaim your power.

Access, your personal power by focusing your energy, thoughts, and actions on what you truly desire.

Keys are a symbol of authority. They allow us to open and close doors. If we’re the only ones who have them, they give us the freedom, security to access the things that are ours.

The Key reminds you to reclaim your power.

It’s a time to step into your power and show up fully.

Outer experiences of life will always be varied. Material possessions may come and go, structures in society may support you or be designed to actively do the opposite. You may have been born into a culture that celebrates you or one that doesn’t honor your value.

No matter what your external circumstances, though, you can connect with, and feel into, your inner power. This inner power cannot be taken away from you. Even when you feel disconnected from it, it’s still there burning brightly for you.

Reclaim this power.

Many people have tried to take it away from you ,or tried to convince you that you don’t have it, but it’s not true. Your power is where it’s always been, within you.

Don’t let the fear of not being liked or being rejected or being told that you’re too much, stop you. Those reactions may hurt, but you aren’t here to live your life for those people. You’re here to live your life for you.

Show up for yourself, accept your power, step into it, and own. It. Allow yourself to move towards your highest potential.

The SHEro Action suggests you own your power.

Bring attention to all the beliefs that prevent you from connecting with and owning your power. Whose voice do you hear telling you that you can’t, you shouldn’t, or you’re not allowed to. Who are you keeping part of yourself small for?

On separate pieces of paper, write down each of the beliefs that stop you from fully embodying your power. One by one, right over each, with a new positive affirming belief, literally cover the old belief and rewrite your story.

Then somewhere safe and suitable (of course), burn each piece of paper, feel the old belief, being burnt away, released and transformed into your new belief.

Pause and take a breath. As you give yourself permission to reclaim your power.

The Affirmation:

“I step into my power with increasing confidence.”

What is your relationship with power?

When we look around the world today, we quite often think of power as being something corrupt, something like power over, you know, fighting to the top, a race to the top, stepping over everybody who is in your way.

But what we’re talking about today is reclaiming that inner sense of power. That inner sovereignty, that power from within, the power from standing side by side together, rather than stomping on each other to get to the top.

When you think about the question that you have, where are you giving your power away in regards to that question?

Perhaps when you think about the question you’ve asked, old beliefs, old conditions, societal expectations, cultural expectations, family expectations come up, and it’s not to say they’re not valid, of course they are, you’re experiencing them, but every time we think somebody knows better than ourselves, we give our power away. Especially when we do it from a place of that’s just the way it’s always been.

Now, of course, there are times in our life when we need to seek authority outside of ourselves, when you might need to speak to a trusted friend, you might need to seek the advice of somebody with an expertise, a doctor, a lawyer, a mechanic, but you do that from a place of conscious choosing. You assess, do I have enough knowledge to fix this particular part of my life?

No, I don’t. Okay then, I’m going to ask, a trusted expert, perhaps you’ll do some research, find out who the best person in your area is to talk to. And then you’ll speak to them. You’re doing that from a place of power rather than going; ‘I just don’t know. Everything’s too hard’.

You resign yourself to get them to do it, saying: I’m just going to do what I’ve always done. I’m going to do what my parents, my family, my culture, my society expects of me.

That’s not making that decision from a powerful place.

Can you feel the difference?

Notice what beliefs, what patterns, and what conditioning comes up for you. As that is quite literally where you are leaking your power.

What you want to do is call back that power, to reclaim that power, to know that you have the answers, you need, to know that you can make the right decisions for yourself. Even when the world around you is saying: you don’t want to do that, no, not like that, and don’t do this.

I’m just going to grab the rest of the cards and I’m going to draw another card to give us a little more insight into reclaiming your power .

The card is: Trust your knowledge.

That’s pretty much what we were just saying.

To reclaim your power, the card is The Map.

ADDITIONAL CARD: The Map

Re-enchant your life podcast

When you’re thinking about reclaiming your power, and you’re thinking of that question that you want the answer to, feel into the idea of trusting your knowledge.

It’s like, you have the information you need. You are already probably more than qualified. Quite often when I work with women, they’re like, Oh, when I get my next qualification, when I’ve got my next experience, when I’ve hit my next dress size. When I’ve got my next career goal, then they can trust themselves, and then they can take action.

And actually know you can do it now.

Nothing actually changes when you get to that next level. I mean, obviously unless you’re going to be something that needs a particular qualification, but you can begin to trust yourself in this moment. You can reclaim your power in this moment.

You are already enough.

You don’t need anything extra to be able to reclaim your power.

How does that sit with the question you’re asking?

Okay, you’re just going to hear me in my charm box.

Ooh, I’ve just pulled out a pair of wings and then they’re all sparkly. They’re silver and sparkly.

And so, what do wings represent to you?

ADDITIONAL CHARM: Pair of Wings

Re-enchant your life podcast

These are a really big pair or fully opened wings. I have some wings that are, that are closed and they almost make like a heart shape. These are fully spread and open.

If you just spread your arms to the side, horizontal with the floor, how does that make you feel? Because this is what these wings are doing. It’s like allowing you to take up space, to spread those wings, to fly, to take back your power, to give yourself permission, to own your thoughts, your feelings, your desires, your physicality, your decisions, your choices, all of it.

These wings aren’t protecting, they’re fully opening your chest, opening your arms, allowing you to take up more space.

Now those of you that have listened to my podcast for a while, you know, I’m a huge fan of Amy Cuddy’s work and the power pose. If you Google Ted talk power pose, it’s brilliant. And she’s got a really good book called presence. Basically she’s talking about the way that we hold our body can affect the way that we feel, and the way that we’re perceived by ourselves and others.

Having these wings here fully open is like stepping into your own power pose, opening those arms, opening your arms to life, and saying yes, saying yes to yourself, saying yes to your dreams, saying yes to everything that you’ve ever desired.

When you take back your power, when you take back your power from maybe those people who have said you can’t do that, you shouldn’t do that. Who do you think you are to do that? Know your place, Oh, you’re too loud. You’re too emotional. You’re too, too, too, too, too. Whatever too much-ness has been said to you.

I have a saying, a little, little phrase, that always makes me chuckle a little bit. And it’s like your job in life, is to show up fully in the magnificence of who you are. Not to play small, not to curtail to other people’s desires, not to prioritise other people’s comfort over your own. It’s for you to show up fully. Of course other people are going to be triggered by that. Of course other people are going to feel uncomfortable around that, but you show up and shine, shine as bright as you can. And if those around you can’t cope, because remember these wings are sparkly, tell them to buy some sunglasses.

You owe it to yourself to show up in the fullness, in the richness, in the complexness, in the multi passionate person that you are, so that you can live a rich, full and varied life, so that you can spread joy, that presence that wonder of being human to everyone else around you.

How does that sound when you’re thinking now about reclaiming your power, trusting your knowledge and giving yourself permission to take up space with your power, with your knowledge, with your desires, with the decision that you know you want to make, but maybe you’re looking for permission.

This is the permission you’ve been waiting for.

Give yourself that permission!

Let me know what resonated for you.

Let me know your own thoughts and feelings on the cards. Because one thing that I love about when you’re working with cards, when you’re working with charms, when you’re working with your intuition, is it’s not cookie cutter, I’m looking at The Key going: Oh, I’m going to unlock my potential or I’m going to store away this and call back my energy, but perhaps The Key to you means something completely different.

When you put these three aspects together, perhaps again, that means something completely different to you. So I’d love to know your interpretations, what this means to you and what that message meant to you in relation to the question you asked.

As always, thank you for joining me and I’ll see you again very soon for another episode of the Re-Enchant Your Life podcast, where we’re going to carry on spiralling deeper on this journey, really helping you to trust yourself, to know that you have the answers, so that you can make those better choices so you can create deep and lasting change in your life. Until then, I’ll see you again very soon.

Start Now

Start Now

Welcome back to the Re-Enchant Your Life Podcast with me, Rebecca Anuwen.

We’re back to give you some inspiration and to get you using your intuition.

On the last episode, we looked at the symbolism of The Anchor and the importance of making a choice. Today, we move on to the card, the boots and we’re encouraged to start now.

Take a moment to focus on the question that you have today, large or small, it doesn’t matter, as today we’re looking at getting started.

Where in your life do you need some guidance on taking those next steps, of starting something new?

As always, we’ll start by looking at the meaning of the SHEro toolkit card. Then I’ll draw a second card for you so we can explore how that card changes the meaning or the nuance of the first card. Then I’m going to draw a charm, allowing us again, to build our own story and find the answer to your question.

The card today is The Boots.

The Boots – Start Now

Re-Enchant Your Life Podcast

What do you think of when you think of boots?

Are they something that’s comfortable? Are they something that are ugly? Are they something that have walked you thousands and thousands of miles?

I’m going to start by sharing my thoughts, but as always, what you think is far more important and relevant. Use my thoughts as a starting point. Something to inspire you for you to say; yes! oh my goodness, I agree with that. Or; no, that’s not what I think. Either one gives you more insight into the inspiration and guidance that you’re looking for right now.

So let’s begin.

The card’s guidebook says:

The Boots – start now

Start where you are and do what you can.

Boots protect your feet as you walk through life, they allow you to move forward confidently. Putting your boots on can motivate you to get started, making you feel prepared and ready for what lies ahead.

Bold choices create magic.

They may feel scary, but once you commit and take action, the magic happens and propels you further than you ever thought possible. There’s a time for pausing, assessing and ensuring your choices are aligned with your truth and your dreams. And there’s a time when you must take action.

Right now is the time for action.

Step out of all, that’s familiar to you so that you can move forward in the direction of what you want to consciously create. Step up and out. Be clear in both your decision and your action.

Sometimes you need to take a leap of faith to see and understand what you’re really capable of this time is now step forward boldly with the courage of your convictions and the passions of your heart, guiding you forward.

The SHEro Action

Make that bold choice.

Take a moment to focus on your dreams, desires, and all that you want to achieve, and then ask your inner guidance what one bold action can you take that will move you closer to them?

What do you need to do to take that bold action?

Do you need to just do it or do you need to ask for support and accountability?

You don’t have to do it alone, but it is you who has to start and set things in motion.

The Affirmation:

I take bold action and create magic.

How does that guidance fit in with the question that you have today? The question that needs you to start now?

I’m going to shuffle the cards and find out what else we need to know about starting now.

What other information do we need to have?

Okay, Start Now goes with the card The Compass, align with your inner compass.

ADDITIONAL CARD: The Compass

Re-Enchant Your Life Podcast

Now again, we had this the other day, actually we had all the threes, but today we’ve got the sixes.

The boots is card number six and the compass is card number 16.

What does the number six mean to you?

Is that relevant for you to start now?

Six days, six months, six people to support you?

What is that number six, telling you?

When we look at the two cards together, it’s like start now and keep coming back to align with your inner compass, start now and you’ll come across challenges and obstacles.

It’s the way of the SHEro’s Journey and every decision we make in life.

We make that choice to step up, to take action. Then we come across obstacles, but to keep us going to keep us moving through those obstacles, to get us stronger, more resilient, to bring us growth, we have to align with our inner compass.

We have to remember why we’re doing this. It’s no good half-heartedly committing to something, taking that first step, and then when we come across that first obstacle, we’re going to give up because we don’t really want it.

We’re not really sure why we’re doing it.

However, if you’re aligned with your inner compass, if you’re sure on your reasons why, it becomes much easier to overcome those obstacles, to find solutions to them, to know that those obstacles are really minuscule compared with our dreams and desires compared with your own inner compass.

The caveat I would put with that is to make sure it’s your inner compass, not what you think you should be doing. Not what your family wants you to do.

Not what your culture, or society wants you to do, expects you to do, but to make sure it’s yours.

Pause and take a breath.

Put your hand over your heart space and just ask, is this mine?

What is it you want?

When you start?

What direction are you taking? Life?

It may be different from what’s expected of you.

It may be different from anything your family’s ever done before, but it’s important to align with your compass to make sure you’re on your path.

You can only walk your path. If you choose to walk the path that’s expected of you, that ends up with frustration, resentment, anger, bitterness.

Going through those difficult conversations or, you know, challenges, to get you moving is so much easier in the long run.

Think of the long-term gains. Will you be happy with your choice in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years?

If you won’t, if you’ll have those regrets align with your inner compass and choose from that place.

I’m going to choose a charm now, let’s see what we’ve got today…

It’s a girl. She looks like a cheerleader with pompoms in her hands, jumping in the air for joy.

ADDITIONAL CHARM: The Cheerleader

Re-enchant Your Life Podcast

Aligning with your inner compass. When I look at this, this charm, this woman with her like jumping in the air, her heels by her bottom and pompoms thrown in the air, it’s like joy, jubilation, cheering celebration.

Align with your compass and what makes your heart, your energy jump for joy?

Where are you throwing your arms in the air to go; Yay!I’ve started. I’ve started my path. It’s my true path. This is the place for me.

You can’t help but feel the energy of cheerleaders, cheerleading, I can’t help, but feel the energy of joy and expansion of celebration.

The card said know that you don’t have to do it alone. Perhaps you need to get a cheer squad involved, who are the people that are going to support you?

Not the people who are going to doubt you, who are going to project their fears, their insecurities onto you, but the people that believe in you, the people that are going to go, you’ve got this.

People who will say to you; I know someone that can support you. Have you read this book? Have you listened to this podcast? Have you spoken to this person?

The people that are going to encourage you. The people that, that if you come across a challenge, if you stumble backwards, a few steps, they’re not going to say ‘I told you, told you it was hard’. They’re going to say ‘It’s Okay, you’ve got this’, and then help you  brush your knees off. Step up and say; Let’s try again. How can we do it differently?

When you’re starting, now, that question you had at the beginning, it is time to start now, okay?

The boots on the card are very solid hiking boots. You can kick little pebbles out of the way. You can climb mountains if you have to.

Align with your inner compass to make sure you’re on your path, to make sure that the path you’re following is the one that is aligned with your truth, your values, your energy, and is aligned with your soul purpose.

And then make sure that the path you’re walking brings you joy, that it brings you jubilation, and make sure you’ve got people or at least one person to support you.

It might be a book that supports you. It might be a book of inspirational quotes that support you, it might be a favourite film that you watch that just puts you into this energy of; yes, I’ve got this!

Maybe you have a playlist of music that will keep you going. Perhaps it’s in-person, real people, perhaps it’s an on-line community. Perhaps it’s a, a group of people, perhaps it’s one person.

Just make sure you’ve got them on your side ready, because often people think that when they’re on the right path, it’s going to be easy. And I’ve heard many people say, Oh, I turned back because it was too hard. If it was supposed to be, it would have been easy.

Now I actually don’t agree with that. Sometimes we have to turn back because it is the wrong path. Sometimes we have to do the challenges. We have to overcome the obstacles to make sure we’re in alignment with the path that we’re choosing.

Sometimes we have to overcome the obstacles so we can grow in strength, experience, knowledge, and wisdom, so that we can actually hold the energy of where we’re going.

It’s like, if you wanted to be a lawyer, a heart surgeon, a mechanic, you’d have to go to school and learn how to do those things.

Now that’s going to be tricky, but you need to walk that path in order to have the skills, to be the lawyer, to be the heart surgeon, to be the mechanic.

It doesn’t mean just because it was hard and the exams and the revision with difficult. It doesn’t mean you weren’t in flow, that it wasn’t your path to walk. It just means you needed to grow. You needed to get more wisdom and gain more experience to be able to live the life you wanted to lead as the lawyer, the doctor, the mechanic.

Get those people on board, get the support you need.

Thank you for joining me. I’ll see you again very soon for another episode of the Re-Enchant Your Life podcast, where we’re going to carry on spiraling deeper on this journey, helping you to trust your intuition so that you can make better choices, so that you can hear your inner wisdom and you can understand the language of your soul that talks to you through your intuition, so that ultimately you can make better choices and trust yourself.

Until then, I’ll see you again very soon.

Make a Choice

Make a Choice

Welcome back to the Re-Enchant Your Life Podcast with me, Rebecca Anuwen.

I’m back with some inspiration and an intuitive twist.

On the last episode, we looked at the symbolism of the candle and the importance of getting clear on your next steps. Today, we move on to making a choice, knowing what to do and choosing to actually take action, to do it are very different things.

Take a moment to focus on the question you have for today. We’re looking at choice. Where in your life do you need some guidance on making the right choice for you?

We’ll start by looking at the meaning of the SHEro toolkit card, and then I’ll draw a second card for you to explore how that card changes the meaning or nuance of that initial card. And then, because, you know, I love working with the charms, I’m going to draw a charm too, again, allowing us to weave a deeper story.

What do you think of when you think of the anchor?

The anchor is the card today that tells us to make a choice.

The Anchor – Make a Choice

ReEnchant Your Life Podcast
I’m going to share my thoughts on the anchor, but as always, what you think is much more relevant than what I think, use my thoughts as a tool to guide you to start your own thought process, but follow and trust your thoughts.

The anchor, make a choice.

Every choice that you make makes a difference. Anchors connect us to the earth and provide stability. Even in the most troubled of waters, they allow us to remain in one place, giving us pause as we consciously choose the direction.

The anchor reminds you to make a choice, now is not the time to sit back and do nothing nor is it the time to passively wait for the outcome you want, now is the time to make a choice so that you can take clear decisive action.

Maybe you aren’t happy with where you are. Maybe your previous choices didn’t give you the outcome you expected. That’s okay.

Right now in this moment, you can choose again and you can choose to move away from your current situation and towards where you want to be. These choices can be small steps or giant leaps. The size of the choice doesn’t matter. It’s the commitment that you’re making to yourself and the choice that’s important.

It’s essential to know that you get to make the choices that move you towards your desired outcome. Sometimes you’ll make these choices moment to moment. Other times you’ll make them for the longer term, regardless. They’re your choices to make.

The SHEro action recommends to help you make a choice, it says, where in your life have you been waiting to make a choice, take action, or commit to a dream or desire.

It’s time to stop waiting, take responsibility for the direction you want to go in and commit to it. You don’t need permission or validation from anyone else. Now is the time to choose. Give yourself permission, validate yourself, you know yourself better than anyone, make the choice you truly desire.

The affirmation: I make conscious choices that serve me.

When you think of an anchor, what comes to mind for you?

The anchor roots us down into that one place it’s heavy. It’s grounded. When you make this choice, how many times have you made a choice in your life? You’re like, yes, this is what I’m going to do. Maybe you feel the energy of the anchor, like rooting you to the place you’re really clear on what you want to do. And then a few days, a few weeks later, you’re like, Oh, maybe I shouldn’t do that. Maybe I should do something else. Because by that point you’ve had other people’s expectations.

Other people’s judgments come towards you and you’ve taken those on as your own. You’ve let your anchor be lifted out of the seabed. And now you’re that boat bobbing around, not sure what you should do, what you should really decide as is yours because these other people or events, society, culture are trying to convince you that your initial choice was the wrong choice.

I’m just going to shuffle the cards to get some more insights into how to help you make the choice that you need to make right now.

And it’s the book of shadows and the writing on the card says to record your experiences.

ADDITIONAL CARD: The Book of Shadows

ReEnchant Your Life Podcast
Now, this is interesting, actually, just today, I wrote a post on magical recordkeeping and one of the things that I think is really important about magical recordkeeping is it gives us a record of our lived experience. And when we’ve written something down that can’t be taken away from us because when you think, Oh yeah, this is definitely what I want to do, this is the choice I want to make and then you start taking action and it becomes difficult.

You start going, is that really the right choice for me? Maybe I just imagined it. Maybe things weren’t as good as I thought they were. But when we’ve recorded our experiences in a magical journal, in a book of shadows, in our own diary, we can’t take away the experience when we go back and we reflect.

What is your experiences that are real to you that can help you make this choice?

Whether it’s being clear on that decision you needed to make, whether it’s because you have proof from the past that you’re like, Oh yeah, this is what I want. This is how I need to show up.

These are the decisions I need to make, because even if they’re harder decisions, even if they’re more challenging to you, when you’ve got concrete experience to draw upon, it becomes much easier to make those choices. It knows that we can overcome those obstacles. It knows that walking the path of most resistance actually helps us to become stronger.

I heard someone the other day and they said something that made me laugh. They said, the only things that go with the flow are dead fish.

Something about that just really made me laugh because it is like sometimes we have to go against the current to get stronger. You know, we have to keep going and keep trying. The choice that you need to make right now may not be the easiest choice, it’s like in your heart you probably know the choice you need to make and it’s difficult and yet experience shows you that this is the right choice.

What I’m going to do now is I’m just going to pick a charm to find out what charm is going to support us here.

Oh, and it’s a charm that actually says the word believe.

ADDITIONAL CHARM: Believe

ReEnchant Your Life Podcast
Again, that links in perfectly with that make a choice, record your experiences. It’s like, look back over your life at those experiences and then believe in yourself to know that you can absolutely make that choice to make that choice means bringing change.

Deciding what you need to do is the easy part.

Even though we might mither about it for ages, even though we might to and fro and not be sure, but knowing what to do and then making the choice to actually do it are two very different things. It’s like you have that big dream and then to make a choice, it’s like putting all the pillars in place, knowing all the different things that you actually have to do. It’s like putting that plan and when we make a choice, we say yes to something. But when we say yes to something, it often means that we’re saying no to something else. It’s a really important way of finding out what’s important to us and which way we’re taking our life in.

When you think about the question you had about making the choice, I think the message coming through right now is believe in yourself and don’t choose the easy option because you think it will be easier. Rarely choosing the easy path is actually the easier option. Don’t be afraid to take on something that feels really big. Don’t be afraid to make really significant changes in your life because as the charm says, believe in yourself.

How did you find that? Go back and have a reflect on those images on that charm and ask yourself, what is the message those cards have for you today. Hopefully I’ve inspired you and given you some thoughts, but what do they have for you?

Thanks for joining me. I’ll see you soon for another episode of the Re-Chant Your Life podcast, where we’re spiral deeper on our journey, learning to trust your intuition so that you can make better choices, ones that are aligned with your deepest desires, until then.
